📸 1: wedding day in the infamous “snowtober”nor’easter 13 years ago ❄️ by : the staff at mohonk were amazing to our guests and vendors that were snowed in on top of the mountain that night. What a story :)

We just recently gave these new containers a try for a few items in our retail stores and specialty crops for chefs/wholesalers. We are in love with how compact and slim they are while still allowing us to store the same amount of greens inside!
—

The containers we source are BPA free and made from 100% post consumer recycled RPET plastic. It helps to conserve natural resources and promote an eco-friendly establishment by reducing its carbon footprint by over 50% per every 1000 containers.
—

We dabbled with compostable packaging over the years but found it difficult to recycle for our customers (you must return to a commercial composting facility, cannot compost in your yard OR put in your recycle bins).
—

We found this as the best solution so far until a better one comes along. 🤞

ps our labels are also eco-friendly! the recycled white labels feature a facestock made of 100% post-consumer waste.

Thankful for every team member who has ever washed a tray, filled a tray with organic soil or seeded a tray. Thankful for every delivery made and every tray watered.

We wouldn’t be here without any of you. And for that we are forever grateful.

This week we are overcome with joy to work with the Culinary Institute of America with their Farm to Table/Sustainability students and chefs. We look forward to continue our work together and can’t wait to share what these talented chefs have created.

We also delivered our microgreens to local school districts and what a full circle to be able to grow nutrient dense food for children in our community! As a mom of two and whole food nutritionist, this is a major win and we look forward to establishing and sharing our greens with more schools!

We provide a high-quality, hyper-local product that is healthy and fresh 365 days a year. With organic practices in mind, we deliver our produce to restaurants, grocery stores, and establishments within 24 hours of harvest.

About Nicole Harris:
Nicole is a Certified Clinician in Whole Food Nutrition, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and Owner/Operator of Tiny Greens Farm.

A veteran’s wife and mom of two, she is passionate in helping her community achieve health, happiness and joy through a nourishing diet and lifestyle.

Nicole began her career in the fashion and entertainment industries in New York City maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and support for Fashion Designers, Celebrities, CEOs and Vice Presidents, both personally and professionally, with 24/7 accessibility and responsibility.
