Meet us at Thunderhead Lodge on Sunday, September 28, 2025 after Pipes 4 Paws Charity Motorcycle Ride to Help Abused Dogs & Animals

Pipes 4 Paws Charity Motorcycle Ride to Help Abused Dogs & Animals is less than a week away! Sunday September 28th Thunderhead Lodge will be the landing spot for this ride. Plenty of food and drinks available where 50% of the proceeds will be donated directly to Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue Inc. let’s break our record from last year which was over $2250!

A big THANK YOU to Funk brewing and Half Barrel Brewing for contributing some delicious ales to help the cause, and the Nesting Box for making us a batch of ice cream just for the pups. We will be making some Belly Rubs and Angel Kisses all weekend as is our tradition to increase our donation amount.

We will have a limited menu from 2-5pm on Sunday 9/28 so that we can focus on the event.

We start at Becky's Drive-In and ride to Thunderhead Lodge with a police es**rt from K-9 Cash Lehigh Twp PD and Officer Roth. This is how we send our message to dog and animal abusers that we are out here and will speak up for them. Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue Inc. is so grateful for all of the support, both continued and new. Cheers! We hope to see you all there!

We need more fosters for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. All supplies provided while fostering. You do need to be within an hour drive of the rescue to foster to pick up supplies, for adoption appointments and to coordinate vet care. Meet Tallie. Tallie is a one year old female poodle terrier mix. We were thinking Wheaten mix but she does shed. She weighs about 25lbs and about 14 months old(DOB 7/17/24). She’s so pretty! She came to us with her sister Chanel.
Tallie likes her crate and goes in easily she sleeps all night in her crate, she’s house broken but needs to go out as soon as you let her out of the crate. Tallie sits calmly by the door as you put on her leash. There’s an initial burst of excitement and energy to find a good spot then she is ready to walk with decent leash skills. She’s improving every day but she does love to run and play in a fenced in area. Tallie’s idea of a good time is playing fetch with a dog toy or ball.
Tallie would most likely do better in a home with another confident dog to help her be less anxious. But she will need a meet and greet. She does better around dogs her own size or smaller. She does seem to be afraid of larger dogs. Tallie is learning 4 on the floor so a home with older children is best. She’s more frightened and cowers down. She eats side by side with her sister and they are never food aggressive either.
Tallie is excited to find her forever home with someone that can introduce new people, and experiences to her very slowly and with patience. She has so much potential to be the best companion or family dog. She’s so much fun! Tallie is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm but positive for Lyme without symptoms but she is going through 30 days of Doxycycline to be on the safe side. May they live happily furever in their new homes. Adopted this week were RENEE(shihtzu), HERSHEY(yorkie), HARPER(goldendoodle), JULIE(kitten) and JUDD(black kitten).

Meet Nellie. Nellie is a Pug that came to us from a commercial breeder. She is about 5 years old and weighs about 20 lbs. Nellie is every friendly and loves to be with people. She gets along with other dogs and is in a foster family with cats and a child. Nellie is working on housebreaking and crate training. She did live in a kennel before she came to us but she is definitely loving living in the house with a family.
