Huge thank you to all my clients over the past 2 weeks that either came to my house, let me plug in to theirs, or dealt with an extra vehicle and noisy generator that my husband had to bring along to power my van while my generator was down. I'm sorry it's been a little while since I posted an update on my injury but I really haven't had any new news. I went back to the doctor this week and he said the bone is healing nicely. However, he recommends waiting another 2 weeks before I return to work. He is mostly concerned about the lifting, but also that the motion of brushing and towel drying is still difficult for me. He was very happy with my range of motion and said I don't need to go to PT, so that's great news! I'm sorry this is taking so long...I'm not one to not work and it's killing me. Thank you all for your patience...I have the best clients ❤️

Just a quick update on my injury and (not) being unable to work...I just came from the doctor again and he said it's at least another 4 weeks for it to heal. I go back for another appointment in 3 weeks to start talking about physical therapy. I think most of you know I will be back as soon as I am able to hold my clippers! Kisses to all the pups and thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope to see you all sooner than later!🐶🐾🌞

Well, some of you already know, but I had a bit of a crash with my horse Watson on this past Sunday. He is fine, I will be...but I did manage to land on my face and also fracture the radial neck of my right arm (forearm just before the elbow). I can deal with the face, it's the broken arm that's getting me down! Needless to say, I am not able to groom for a little while. I thought I'd get some answers from the specialist when I saw him, but apparently this type of break is kind of a "wait and see" how it's healing. No cast (the splint in the picture has been removed) and more xrays next week to see how it's healing. Surgery could be needed if the bone slips at all but right now it is aligned...I just need to keep it there! Please bear with me - I know you all know I would much rather be working (and riding!) than just sitting around...I'm not very good at relaxing🙄. Please don't hesitate to reach out if any of you need anything or need a reference until I can get back. Your pups are most important! Take care and I will be back as soon as I possibly can! Thank you for understanding 🐾❤️🐶
