EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!

A 7 yr old, Female Great Pyrenees is in need of a Foster home in CT. Yesterday we were approached to take a dog whose family was losing their home. Two hours later, Lady was in our house. Lady is a very sweet, very calm Great Pyrenees. We estimate that she is about 65-70lbs. Lady is housebroken, good on a leash, dog friendly (but we want to do a meeting), too interested in the squirrels, so no cats. Lady LOVES people, especially children.

Jasmine- 8 month old, Female, 35lbs, mix breed, dog, cat, people friendly, LOVES kids, best with another dog because she is shy. Jasmine is housebroken, ok on a leash, can be crated. Takes time to warm up to you but very sweet.

Nibbles- 1yr old, Male, 42lbs, Lab mix, dog, cat, people friendly, great with young kids, housebroken, can be crated but doesn’t need to be, good on a leash, well behaved, loves to cuddle.

Freya- 2 yr old, Female, 40lbs, Cattle dog mix, cat, dog, people friendly, would love to hang out with young kids, great on a leash, loves car rides, housebroken, loves to cuddle.

Join us for an afternoon of fun on November 16th at Dolly Pawton Drag Bingo, hosted by Summer Orlando.

The event kicks off at 2:00 PM with doors opening at 1:00 PM at The Carousel Museum in Bristol, CT (95 Riverside Ave).

Come dressed in your best Dolly Parton-inspired outfit or simply come as you are! The event will feature six exciting rounds of bingo, tickets are $30

We need a Foster for Flopsy! She is a 4 yr old, 50lb Female German Shepherd who is dog friendly, people friendly spirited, and sweet. Flopsy’s Foster is dealing with a medical emergency and we need to move Flopsy IMMEDIATELY. Flopsy knows sit, paw, crate, she is crate trained housebroken, great on a leash and she does not have separation anxiety. We do not know about cats. Hi!

We are so grateful that one of the Volunteers we work with to rescue dogs in one of the most difficult areas for animals we have seen, the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, is doing a fundraiser for us. When we visited there back in July we spent time with Eli. She is a teacher that gets up early to do a 1.5 hour route to feed and bring water to the dogs that are strays, that have either been dumped or simply abandoned. She does the same thing in the evening, when we were there we did the evening the route with her.

It is so difficult to see these dogs and puppies and know the best you can do is to try and keep them alive until a rescue steps up to take them. We have taken several and with your support of Eli's birthday fundraiser, we can do more!!! Please donate. Every $ does make a difference!

Texas Shepherds!!!! That’s right, our Rescue has 2 BEAUTIFUL Sheherds from Texas who are available for Adoption. Flopsy and Max- both are Fostered in CT, dog friendly, probably no to cats, Max is moderately energetic, Flopsy is more active but not crazy. Both dogs are housebroken, great on a leash, and they make great family dogs. They had interested parties who passed them up because it wasn’t the best time for them to Adopt- their loss your gain!
