It’s Friday, you know what that means! The first day of New Inn Kennels newest series. 💥 Fun Fact Friday 💥 Every Friday we will provide you with a fun fact or informational related to our canine companions. With summer days quickly approaching we wanted to take the time to relay the importance of keeping your dog cool during the summer months. Heat stroke can be deadly if not identified and treated quickly. Below you can find the signs to watch for to safely enjoy warmer weather with your furry friends. At the first sign of heat exhaustion starting cooling your dog immediately! 💧Bring your dog to shade and pour water over your dog, armpits and inside of hind legs will help cool your dog the quickest. If your dog is conscious offer water, but do not force them to drink! 🚨 Heat related sickness is a medical emergency that requires veterinary intervention. If you spot any of the signs of heat stroke contact your vet immediately.
