We at Newberry Farm strive to raise healthy, happy hens and meatbirds. All our birds are provided fresh, clean water and food daily in large coops with covered outdoor runs. For the safety of our animals, we only allow them to free range while we are outside to supervise. We have chicks for meat and eggs, and baby turkeys available for sale in the Spring. If you would like us to raise you a turkey

for Thanksgiving please put your order in now. Check with us as to whether we have processed chicken or fresh eggs available.

In this time of giving thanks, I need to give the biggest shout out to Seph, Christina and Lyla. With taking on a new job that requires a lot of my time, the kids activities, and a very busy farm life we didn’t have time to tend to the garden like past years. Christina and Seph both stepped up to the plate and offered to help out in the garden and they did the most fantastic job! This weekend we put the garden to bed for the winter and prepped it for some winter garlic. 🧄 Due to Christina and Seph we had beautiful veggies in the farm stand all season. Spring gardening starts now as we prep the garden for the year to come.

We are finalizing our turkey order. So please confirm if you’d like one if I haven’t talked to you in the past week.

We are starting to take turkey orders for Thanksgiving. Which will be here before we know it. This year, we only have 1 batch of turkeys. We will not have huge turkeys this year. Most should be in the 20lb range. Please, let me know if you’d like to reserve one and how many people you will be feeding.

Sundays are for lesson plans and homesteading. Did all the barn chores early so the horses could get out for a while and stretch their legs. Chickens were not happy about the snow but the ducks loved it. Spent the rest of the day fermenting garlic in honey, making laundry soap and lesson planning for the upcoming week ❤️
