Urgent Pet Adoption Appeal! 🏡🐾

Jace... he's shutting down. 😢 Living the kennel life has left him exhausted, sad, and lonesome for a family. Every time he goes back into that kennel, it breaks his spirit a little more. The wonderful staff at Livingston County Animal Shelter is doing their best, but nothing can replace the warmth and love of a permanent home.

If you're thinking about adopting, please, we implore you to consider Jace. He needs you now more than ever.

This past week marked the last day for our long time groomer Nancy Oberg as she prepares to move across the state. She has groomed here for 8 years, and was my friend before that! All of us will miss her so much! Good luck Nancy with your move and your new life!!

The Classy Canine opened in December of 2007. Sweet little poodle Viking became a client that January. Viking turned 18 last week and is still coming in regularly for her grooming, making her our longest doggy client ever. Her grooms go a little differently nowadays, with Karry holding her in her lap and getting done whatever she will comfortably allow. What hasn’t changed is her sweet demeanor. We all love you, Viking!

Our groomer Ashley and her dog Cartwright participated in their first ever dog show last weekend at the Obedience Training Club of Greater Lansing.

Cartwright earned his novice rally title!

He placed 2nd in novice rally, 3rd in intermediate rally, and 1st in beginner obedience!

Congratulations Ashley and Cartwright!
