most of these ship best in the medium usps flat rate box for $16 but I can ship for cheaper if needed. International shipping also is available.

Some Frequently asked questions:

What is a Plait: it’s the number of pieces of rawhide braided together, if you think of braiding hair, that has 3 pieces, 30 plait would be 30 pieces braided together

What length should I get? The measurements you see would be the total measurement from bit end to bit end not including the tail.

110” (also noted as 55”) is suitable for average to long necked horses (110” would be the total rein length not including the tail, 55” would be half the rein part rein length). About 95% of the romals we sell are 110”

102-104” also noted as 51” or 52”) is suitable for the average to short necked horses

The difference from 104”-110” is only 3” of rein length so minimal difference and fairly versatile

84-90” romals are usually made to be used with rein chains, but could also be used with pony’s

I always say it’s better to be on the longer side because you can always slide your hand down and grab further down the rein but not everyone wants the extra slack if you do have a short necked horse 😊

If it is not listed, we do not have it instock but can easily place a special order (this is the fastest way to get what you are wanting) we just need payment and a shipping address

We have youth sizes, at the end of this post too!

Sizes XS-XL instock with a adjustable zipper panel for a truly custom fit (measurements in the last photo). We do have a number of styles instock that are a large thigh and waist but the length measures as a small (roughly 32-34” inseam) We are noting them as large/short.

Keep in mind the waist adjusts much further both ways then listed and the thigh measurement can be let out about an inch with the adjustable zipper panel

I have a few of the leather hangers with jowel straps that attach to the bosal and will need the blood knots retied. It requires some patience but it’s really nice leather and discounting them for $25 per hanger
