This is your reminder to book your dog's boarding if you are going out of town! Here are our holiday hours for drop offs and pick ups.

We understand things happen, but if you need to cancel your boarding PLEASE let us know 48 hours ahead of time so that you do not have to pay half of your boarding fee. Someone else would probably like to have your spot too and we can offer it to someone else! It's a win win!

Two years ago our current building was just getting started! We were looking at the progress everyday and still couldn't believe how much space we would soon have!

We were also hosting some of our regulars in our old space. We still enjoy having Obi the Husky, Apen the Corgi, and Stella the Golden!

Riley is a Great Dane and has started private lessons with us with her owner! Her owner wants to train her before she gets big and has any problems. Prevention is so much easier than trying to fix a bad habit!

Sophia is a cute and sweet Australian Labradoodle! She is 7.5 months old and finished her stay with us yesterday. Her family did a great job in their lessons these past 2 weeks and we can't wait for them to join us for Monday classes!

Here's Cosmo! He came to us for training this summer and came back for a visit with his sisters!

His owner shared a huge win with us and said that Cosmo was able to go to his last vet appointment and did not have to be put under sedation! Yay!!!

Great job to Cosmos humans for using their training tools and for continuing the training at home!

Cute little Piper is on her first week of our Lifetime Program! She is a pro at place!

Sadie is so cute! She finished her first week of training with us and will be back next week for more! She is an Australian Shepherd St. Bernard mix.

She is here to learn manners like not jumping on people and to walk nice in a leash. She is a happy girl, friendly to all people and dogs. She is going to be a big girl when she is full grown. The owners have the right idea to start training early!

Max and Stella stayed for a few days this week for their "boost" portion of our Private Lessons with a Boost program.

Their owner has been really dedicated to taking the time off of work once a week to drive and hour to get here for her lessons and then putting in the practice at home.

Now that they are back home with her she says they are doing great! The main focus of the program is to have the dogs listen to her, not distract eachother and listen, and to not get jealous and fight for attention. We have some more lessons in the coming weeks to keep working towards these goals.

Another great week at Dependable Companions! Thanks to all of you we have the best job ever!

Back by popular demand! We've shared a similar video before, but we had some curious owners wondering if their dogs barked the whole time they were here! Here's your answer!

Do you ever see owners walking their dogs that are so well behaved and you wish that could be you? They aren't pulling their owners down the sidewalk and they are being polite to everyone out there and not barking or pulling! Sometimes dogs are that good without training, but a lot of them have had to practice to learn those skills. We can help you have the confidence to walk your dog again! We offer one one one help then you get to practice your skills in a group setting when you are ready! We can do a consultation with you in the phone or in person to tell you more about it!

People often ask, are the dogs always barking? No! Here's a tour of the kennel and you can see the dogs are happily exhausted!

Jax was doing the happy dance when he saw his mom in the lobby today! He was a fun and happy boy all week!

Faith is on the agility equipment today! These are fun lessons to teach and it helps give a dog confidence too!

Superbowl Puppies!

Gideon is reactive to everything! Sometimes you just don't even know what he's barking about or he's just barking and growling out of habit. His owner said "I just want to be able to walk my dog! " This was his first day and he's doing even better on his 3rd day! He's not as tough as he sounds and he's learning he doesn't have to always control everything. Relaxing isn't a bad thing!
