Purebred 2018 Connemara mare. 14.3+, grey, hwsd n/n. Wildwych Wily Casanova (Bunowen Castle Ri) x Wildwych Giselle. Cora is a lovely mare who we planned to retain, but unfortunately life circumstances have changed. She has performance bloodlines (her sire was Connemara of the year in 2022), and has multiple siblings competing. Cora has been in professional dressage training since May 2023. She has been developed correctly and is a lovely mover. She has a great combination of impulsion, work ethic and hardiness (she is also barefoot). Cora would be suitable for an intermediate rider and would excel in a program. She is currently solid training level and schooling first. She is hacking out on trail in large groups. Foothills Freedom (5/28/98-8/17/24). Yesterday we said goodbye to our lovely girl Freedom. Freedom was our first purebred Connemara and made the trip from the Foothills in Tennessee to the Catskills in New York in March of 2000. Freedom was the kindest pony there was. She was sensitive, loving and kind. She loved nothing more than jumping fast! She was talented beyond measure. Freedom had one filly, Catskill’s Lady Liberty and will carry on through Libby and her 2023 c**t Valor in Colorado. Freedom was loved every single day, and we will miss her deeply. Rest in peace sweet girl 🍀💜

Two spots available September 1st for full or pasture board. Catskill Connemaras is a small private facility located just 15 minutes from Oneonta and Delhi, NY.

Electric 4 or 5 strand fencing, small group turnout. Large turnout sheds and tested organic hay.

A brand new barn with 12 x 12 stalls and heated tack room is available with full board. Large outdoor arena and access to trails.

Well behaved youngsters and retired horses also welcome.

We have decided to offer Salty (HC Celtic Mark) for a paid lease as either a low level Eventer or Show Jumper up to 1.15. Please PM Donna Miller if interested. I have lots of video of him at WEC showing in the meter child/adult classes from the last couple of weeks. He really took care of his rider and was very happy doing it!
