Honor & Remember, Never Forget ❤️

Today, the whole world honors those we lost & the first responders that risked their lives on this day 23 years ago. As New Yorkers, we are especially connected to this tragedy and those who experienced it.

Our team, along with our community, will honor and remember our heroes today - both human & dog.

Dogs were fundamental to everything from rescue missions in the days following to therapy programs in the years following. Their ability & willingness to work tirelessly shows dogs’ connection to us.

Trackr traveled from Canada and discovered the last survivor. Porkchop was only one years old, but would not take rests. Bretagne worked at Ground Zero for 10 days as her first ever mission. Roselle led her blind owner down 78 flights of stairs to safety.

We know this day is heavy for our community. By sharing stories and keeping memories alive, we stay connected to & reminded of those we lost. We would love to hear about your hero, your experience, your feelings surrounding today.

If you’re comfortable, we will share a few stories today to honor & remember.

Shelter Secret Santa 🐶🎄This year, our INCREDIBLE community at Barkfield provided enrichment, chews, toys, & treats for over 119(!!!) shelter dogs 🥹 at the @tohanimalshelter ! In collaboration with the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter, and with a heroic effort from our amazing team, our 4 legged friends were not forgotten in the holiday cheer 🥳 We wanted to thank our customers, our community, as well as our team, once again for making this happen.
