Barkfield Road, located in East Northport, is all about the dogs. Our store is centered around a bakery for dogs, among many other offerings including organic pet food and accessories. With seasonal cookies and birthday treats, the bakery is a must-visit destination for the Long Island dog's community.
This Valentine’s Day, we are using our bakery goodies for good with our “Give a Cookie, Get a Cookie” initiative.
Customers are able to purchase a hand decorated cookie for a shelter dog and we matched that cookie. The goal is to give the dogs waiting for their furever homes love this Valentine’s Day. This event follows our Annual Shelter Dog Secret Santa, where we gifted each dog at 5 local shelters holiday gifts through customers’ and companies’ generosity. The team at Barkfield Road all have rescue dogs of our own and know the importance of adoption. We hope to continue to support shelter dogs and staff while raising awareness for these wonderful dogs who may be overlooked.
Please come by to Barkfield Road to purchase a special treat for your pup, and we will donate one to a shelter! Customers are also encouraged to write a sweet note that will be read to the sheltered dogs during a drop-off.
