Every rescue story is unique, and today we're sharing another touching tale from our community. This time, it's about Philly, a golden retriever who found her forever home after a challenging start.
Philly's journey wasn't easy. By the age of 2, she had already experienced the loss of two owners. She then found herself living with their granddaughter, who, despite best intentions, wasn't prepared for the demands of a golden retriever.
But as they say, every cloud has a silver lining. Philly's story took a beautiful turn when she met her new family - experienced golden retriever parents with two other goldens at home. It was a perfect match!
Now, Philly is thriving in her new home, fitting in perfectly with her golden siblings. Her new family shares, "We are thankful to have found her and made her a part of our family."

Today, we're sharing a heartwarming adoption story from one of our wonderful clients, Geraldine, and her furry friend, Chewie.
Geraldine adopted Chewie when he was 1.5 years old. Chewie had a rough start - his previous owner had to give him up after 8 months due to conflicts with other pets. But fate had plans for Chewie and Geraldine.
After losing her beloved dog Leo, Geraldine wasn't ready to adopt right away. But 8 months later, as if by destiny, Chewie became available again at the same shelter. It was meant to be!
Now, Chewie is approaching his 5th birthday, living his best life with Geraldine. Their story reminds us that every pet deserves a loving home, and sometimes, the perfect match just needs the right moment.
We're honored to care for Chewie, Leo, and all the beloved pets in our community. Thank you, Geraldine, for sharing your beautiful story and for choosing East Northport Animal Hospital for Chewie's care.
