We want to give a huge shout out to our boy Oliver! Mr. Oliver was diagnosed with very aggressive cancer and given 6-8 weeks tops to live by the specialist back in January. Most patients don't even make it to their first round of chemotherapy. The handsome boy just graduated his first chemo session (8 rounds of chemo) and has a recheck appointment in two weeks. The oncologist thinks there's a good chance he's in remission! He is truly our miracle pup! Please everyone pray and hope for the best news for this sweet boy!

WELCOME DR. KATIE LINK TO VCA COMMACK!🐶😺

Dr. Katie Link is originally from Northeastern Kentucky. In 2017, she received her B.S. in Agriculture from Eastern Kentucky University. In 2019, she received her M.S. in Veterinary Biomedical Science from Lincoln Memorial University.

She moved to Long Island once admitted to veterinary school, where she then received her veterinary degree from Long Island Post in 2024.

Dr. Link joined VCA Commack Animal Hospital as a new graduate in 2024! Dr. Link currently lives with two adorably rotten cats, Sutton and Sarabi, and has a special place in her heart for all things “Pitti” thanks to her family pit bull, Bones.

During her spare time, Dr. Link loves learning new things, and traveling around New York, going to music festivals, and trying new crafts.

Her professional interests include dentistry and preventive medicine.

We are so excited to have Dr. Link join our team! 😊
