💘💘💘ADOPTION UPDATE💘💘💘

“We just wanted to update you about Bear and let you know that we are absolutely in love with him.
He is very vocal, playful and LOVES pets and rubs. He is constantly purring and loves attention, except for when he is pretending to hunt the birds outside.
I attached a couple of pictures; feel free to share on Facebook or Instagram. It is somewhat hard to get great pictures of him because everytime I take out my phone he jumps up for pets 😂 But I will send more as we get them.
He's getting along with our dog quite well but our other two female cats need some more time to get used to him .
Thank you again for everything that you do.”

💘💘💘FELINE FRIDAY💘💘💘

A week ago today, Benny met a lovely woman and was adopted. We were even sent pictures of how happy they were.

Unfortunately, Benny was returned the other day because the woman was in a very serious car accident; she has multiple injuries, including two broken wrists, and couldn’t take care of a kitten.

Benny’s the last of his litter looking to be adopted as his brother Billy found his furever home yesterday.
We would love to see Benny placed in a home of his own for Valentine’s Day.

Benny is a black (with a splash of white on his chest), 5 month old kitten who is playful, loving and would be a wonderful addition to your family.

Come pay him a visit this weekend or the following week at our Valentine’s Adoption Event.

😿😿😿SAD TAIL😿😿😿

Ainsley's story started out happy. She was rescued and placed in a nice foster home where she got to play with the resident cats. Upon arriving at the shelter, she was adopted within 24 hours, becoming the first adoption of 2025.

Today, three weeks later, Ainsley was returned because the grandchild is highly allergic.

Extra sad because today is Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day.

We are hoping for this to end as a HAPPY TAIL. Ainsley is a female, 4 months old, tuxedo kitten who is very sweet, affectionate and playful.

🐈‍⬛Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day🐈‍⬛

Tuxedo Cats - A Poem

I have a tuxedo. I’m decked out in white and black.
Thankfully I don’t wear a top hat, as I’m a cat.
My formal wear goes from my ears to my toes.
While some cats have white spats, I have pantyhose.
If you’re a feline with more white than black,
Some may unwittingly call you a cow cat.
But I consider those white furs a dinner jacket.
You’re just as formal as I am; they need glasses.
Unless, of course, you like to wallow in the dirt
And scuff up that fine, pristine tuxedo shirt.
Then someone may think you really are a cow.
If that happens, you must let out a loud meow
To let them know you’re wearing special furs.
And once you’re clean they’ll know for sure,
You’re a proud and stunning cat in formal wear
Ready for a quiet day of napping or a fancy affair.
But whatever your color and type of furs,
You are special and should be proud of what’s yours!

Has brought you homeless to my gate?
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter, warmth, and food
For from that day I ceased to be
The master of my destiny.
While he, with purr and velvet paw
Became within my house the law.
He scratched the furniture and shed
And claimed the middle of my bed.
He ruled in arrogance and pride
And broke my heart the day he died.
