The B KITTENS are arriving this Thursday.

Their foster mom reports, “Bo, Benny & Billy all sport gleaming black short hair coats that give them a panther-like appearance. You’ll be able to distinguish them from one another because Benny has a tiny patch of white fur under his chin, and Billy has one long white whisker above his right eye. Bo is shining black fur from his nose to his toes.

They’re exceptionally energetic - even by kitten standards! – and spend hours chasing each other, wrestling, and playing with any available toys. Their enjoyment is complete when they have a warm-hearted human who will play with them. The boys are all very affectionate, especially when they’re winding down from playtime. Then, it isn’t unusual to find this trio jostling for room on the nearest welcoming lap where they love to be pet and cuddled, and purr up a storm on their way to kitten dreamland.”

We have word from Whiskey and WALL-Y's family; they have been renamed Pippin and Merry, and like their namesakes from The Lord of the Ring, they are on a new grand adventure.

“They’re are doing great. Very sweet and social. New names are Merry and Pippin. Merry the white and Pippin the all orange.
They’re good with the dogs and my older cat.
They make me smile and laugh. We just lost our corgi and they have helped so much.”

Baby it’s cold outside, but it’s toasty warm here at the Grateful Paw Cat Shelter. Why not stop by for some cat time, playing with our residents. They would love it and so will you.

We are excited that 3 1/2 month old Ainsley will be available for adoption next week.
Her foster mom say, “Ainsley is very playful. She is always trying to get her cousins to play with her and sneak attacking them. She loves playing with her toys and is very happy chasing her tail. When picked up, she looks around and is curious of her surroundings that she cant see from the floor!! She loves ‘running’ around like shes on a racetrack around the room!!! And she loves her sleep!!”

Let's take a sneak peek at the C kittens arriving in the new year: Charlie, Celine, Charlotte, and Cleopatra. There is one more, but we'll update you on her picture and name.
Despite their tough beginnings, they're thriving in their foster home. We look forward to welcoming them to the shelter and finding them their furever homes.

🎄ADOPTION UPDATE🎄

Willow and Whisper were adopted together at the beginning of the month, but ended up being separated for a few weeks before they could be reunited. After they were spayed, Whisper needed more time to recuperate.

Last week we received this message from their mom.
“I adopted Whisper and Willow. I brought Whisper home today and she and her sister have been already chasing each other around the house like they never were apart.”

We’re so happy that they were adopted together and got a home just in time for the holidays.
