13 year old Tuna

Tuna came to us after she was found by a kind woman roaming the streets. Tuna’s microchip was able to tell us a tale of letdown by someone who was her owner for over a decade.

We are happy to have Tuna at our facility, but want to do what’s right for her. Bengals are a very specific breed with even more specific needs. Her bold personality is symbolic of that.

Chatty to say the least, but always looking for human companionship. The was to Tuna’s heart is through expensive foods and affirmations. We noticed that she doesn’t seem too fond of other cats in the moment, but the finder said she did well with exposure to her dog. From what we conclude, there was a good possibility of dogs in her prior home.

Meadow was adopted 9 days short of her two anniversary with us.

To say that she will be missed by our staff and volunteers is a serious understatement. Every day with Meadow has been pure sunshine.

6 month old Oakey

Oakey was found stuck in an Oak tree, and ever since then it’s been a crazy journey alongside this sweet boy. Our vet deemed him to be missing some of his vision, which makes a lot of sense why he was so scared to come down.

Unique is the honorary term best to describe Oakey. His smushed like face is one of a kind cute- and his doofy personality easily matches. His energy is sporadic - you can always find Oakey running around in a crazy fashion. Kitten like for sure, but also still gaining his confidence.. Oakey will easily bring laughter and smiles into anyone’s life.

17 week old Tote Bag!

This adorable girls just came back to our facility from foster! It was difficult for the family not to keep her as their own.

Tote’s foster mom describes her as very spunky and brave! She’s extremely curious to everything going on around her, especially with the older cats in the home. Purring was always instant at the sight of the resident cats. We believe Tote would thrive in a home with another playful cat, as well as children. She would spend a lot of time snuggled up with the kids in the home- which makes her a great candidate for most home environments. It’s obvious that this girl is a total mush!

Meet Granny Smith!

One of our employees went out on a call about a cat with an open wound. This is what she arrived to… After two days, Granny was trapped and rushed to an emergency vet because we were concerned about her being followed by flies (potential maggots). We always get mixed stories in these situations- but the general consensus was that she’s been roaming the block for many years.

Old and frail but tough as nails. For an old girl, she puts up a good fight and left staff shaking in their boots. But as the week went on and we monitored her in the cage, we noticed she was very arthritic. Would never mess up her cage and slept really well. After a good fight to her into our arms- out came a purring machine. It’s been a little over a week and she’s a work in progress, but retirement outside didn’t seem right for Granny Smith.
