It's an afternoon of gift shopping, free carriage rides and more at the 11th annual Folepi's Gifts Galore Shop and Stroll, noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 in East Peoria's original downtown area! Find the perfect gift at one of the participating small, locally owned businesses and have a bite at the tea room. The First United Methodist Church will have a craft show and visits with Santa. It's a fun day for adults and the kids: we'll have free horse-drawn carriage rides, and the kids can have fun visiting with Folepi and The Grinch! The kids can get free hot chocolate, and the kid in everyone can get free balloon creations from The Unique Twist. If you spend $25 or more at a participating business you'll get a gift certificate for a free admission to Folepi's Winter Wonderland drive-through display. Participating are Vintique, The Pickers Daughter, Craftology, Emerald Tea Room, Ltd., Relics, Regulator Roasting Company, Enough Stuff Club, First United Methodist Church of East Peoria and Attitudes and Images.
