New addition to the fish tank. He still needs a name but man is he pretty 😍 He's enjoying swimming around and exploring all the plants after being in a very boring plastic cup at the pet store.

Two years ago, we got the amazing opportunity to meet several of the wolves at Predators of the Heart out in Anacortes, WA. This is Max, one of their ambassador wolves. Unfortunately, this wonderful facility, which takes in animal rescues of all kinds (including alligators, raccoons, skunks, cougars, and many more) is facing hardship and needs as much help as they can get. If they can't raise enough funds in time, many of these beautiful animals will have to be euthanized (the ones that can't be rehomed). If you can help by donating or sharing, I know they would greatly appreciate it!

My two lovely boys that started my garter obsession. ❤️ Ama (Amaterasu) and Aya. Both were originally thought to be girls but proved us wrong 😂

Had the awesome opportunity to do a breeding loan and borrow this beautiful boy for a couple months. Never saw any for sure breeding behavior but crossing my fingers for some of his babies because he is gorgeous! He goes back to his home tomorrow. I'll miss him but I'm so thankful for this opportunity 💙

My last sweet little boy from the 16 babies born in September 2022 ❤️💙 Breeding these guys for the first time has been such an amazing adventure that has brought me so much joy (and a lot of stress and worry too 😅). Can't wait to do it all over again! Hopefully this year but more likely next.

Meet Amara, the second new addition to the family. She's a normal checkered garter snake but she carries some great genes (albino and granite). I've always loved the looks of normal checkereds though.
