How is this sweet little man still looking for a home? Dasher (now known as Mark) is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—one minute he’s pouncing on toys and the next he’s purring in your lap. He is currently in his lanky teenage stage and is hilarious to watch explore his environment. If you would like to meet Mark stop in during open business hours. His adoption fee is $250 and includes all kitten vaccinations and his neuter.

Two of our “reindeer litter” kittens came to get their second round of vaccinations last week! Piers and Cleo couldn’t be happier in their new homes! Their brother Dasher is still available for adoption!

🦷 Before and after of today’s dental cleaning 🦷

Did you know that 80-90% of dogs over the age of three years old have some sort of active dental disease? Just like us, dogs need a professional dental cleaning with radiographs on a routine basis. This dog required several extractions, even though his awesome mom brushes his teeth regularly.

There was so much love in the lobby today.

New Years is for reflecting and today is a day that we will remember for some time. The holidays at their core are about kindness and we saw that firsthand today. Don’t get us wrong, there was heaviness today, as well. We had to say goodbye to a patient that we watched grow from a puppy to an old gentleman, then immediately transition to a pet that needed urgent care, and everything in between. This is nothing new for us in the veterinary field, however, the compassion that we saw in our lobby today was extraordinary. There was sharing of stories, sharing of sorrows and sharing of memories. Hugs and prayers were exchanged between complete strangers. One person paid the bill of another. That blessing was then paid forward to a fellow pet parent who was struggling with their sick pet. Today was beautiful and sad and lifted our souls all at the same time.

As we go into the new year, we can only hope to see as much community, generosity and kindness as we did on this last day of 2024!

Miss Midori is our little snow queen here at the clinic and she is looking for her forever home! She is so incredibly loving and laid back. Midori loves her nappies and snuggles, but won’t turn down some good play time, too. This queen isn’t interested in having canines in her kingdom, so she would be best suited in a home without dogs. If you are looking for an all around perfect girl, Midori is it!
