Memorial Day Pet Safety Tips
-Please make sure your pets stay hydrated if outside and exercising this weekend!
-Make sure that your pets are wearing identification in case they sneak out: collars and tags are good, but microchips are best!
-Be mindful of pets near swimming pools or hot grills this weekend.
-Ask party guests to avoid offering pets greasy or fatty foods that could upset their stomachs!

Did you know that heartworm disease is spread through the bite of a mosquito? Heartworms start out as microscopic parasites that develop in the bloodstream of infected pets. Over months, heartworms grow to be up at a foot in length and lead to heart failure! Symptoms of heartworms can start out as subtle until lasting heart damage is done- check with your veterinarian for recommendations on heartworm prevention and testing. Our Story

Meadows Veterinary Clinic first opened its doors in July 1993. Since then, we have continued to expand our building and our talented staff to meet the needs of the area’s furry companions. A long-time Associate Veterinarian at Meadows, Dr. Katy Clark, DVM, purchased the practice in 2013.

Our mission is to provide quality routine surgical service and medical care with an emphasis on disease prevention and client education. Through our efforts, we will strive to be pet advocates, seeking to preserve the human-animal bond while maintaining quality of life and dignity for our patients.

Our specialties include: preventative care exams and vaccinations, parasite prevention and treatment, spay / neuter / and general surgeries, professional dental cleanings, illness care and hospitalization, a variety of diagnostic testing including digital x-rays and bloodwork, microchip implantation, and therapeutic laser treatments. We see patients by appointment, but we also have convenient "Day Stay" services.
