Luther is a trooper during the day. He, along with his sister Cleo, are accustomed to coming to work in the wee hours of the morning and leaving well after dark here at DSK. Having said that, when he hits the couch at night...its lights out!

As many of you know, we do a lot of work with military families (both active and retired) and their pets! We would like to extend a big Thank You to all of our veterans around the globe on this Veterans Day! What you may not know...is that one of the guys responsible for picking up and delivering a lot of these pets is a veteran himself! Pictured below is Rick Bivens, he's the owners uncle. He served in the Army in Vietnam and went on to be a part of the Army's prestigious Golden Knights Parachute Team! We appreciate all that he does and has done for us!

We don't do what we do for accolades or acknowledgement...we do it because we love the animals and we believe we can be a difference maker in the world. However; it's always nice to be thanked for just being human!

Dessa stayed with us for 3 weeks while we were sorting out her blood test and paperwork for import to South Africa. She quickly became loved by our staff and we were sad to see her go....but we are happy to see her in South Africa with her family! Here's a pic of her with us and a pic of her car ride home with the Haires!

Hello my name is Ace...i have a face that makes everyone want to hug me non stop! I can't wait to be reunited with my family in Germany in a few days! Until then I will be using my eyes to get as many hugs from the DSK staff as possible....it seems to be working so far!

We've had the pleasure of taking care of this wonderful boy, Finn, for a couple days for the Tremblay family. Today he flies out to Frankfurt then on to Incheon Korea. Safe travels Finn!

If you've been to our facility anytime in the Last 5 Years, there's a chance you caught a glimpse of a big German Shepherd named Mandela running around in the yard. Mandela was abandoned by his owner and left with us, he became our Kennel Dog. After 5 years we finally found him a wonderful home with the right owners! He's back visiting us today for a bath and he looks absolutely amazing and happy!

Hello Dear friends, we want to give everyone a heads up! In observance of Independence Day and in celebration of freedom, we will be closed for all services on July 4th!! We will resume grooming and boarding p/u and d/o services on July 5th. We will not resume airport shipping services until July 7th. If your pet is boarding with us on the 4th, we will still have staff present 24 hrs taking care of them. Thank you all!

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Serena Hyche. Her dog Bailey passed away this morning. Bailey was a wonderful soul, a staple at our facility, and loved by our entire staff as if he were our own! We will miss him bouncing around like he owned the place. Rest easy little buddy, you were truly a good one!

Before and After shots of Mrs. Marleyns job on a Standard Poodle pup today!! There are so many poodle cuts to choose from....this customer chose to go with a mixture of 2 different stylings!! Marleyn knocked it out of the park!

We were able to help out a rescue pup today! Pump was tightly matted and covered in fleas..but a sweet boy none the less! Here are the before and after shots. Marleyn does amazing work!!!
