I'm so proud of Lilly and Lucy. They did a wonderful job taking care of these novice riders. IHSA is an intercollegent competition. The students draw a horse and show it with zero warm up or practice. Lilly and Lucy had 12-15 different riders in 2 days and they took it all in stride.
My girls were the show favorites. Quotes: "everyone on the team is hoping to draw one of your Arabians"
"They are majestic"
"They are so smooth and soft to ride"
"I was so lucky to draw Lilly"
From the coaches:
"Your horses are so well trained"
To a student "oh you have a great draw, don't worry, she'll take care of you"
"Thank you for bringing such prefect horses"
Many of the student had never seen an Arabian in person much less rode one, they were all in awe of them.
Great job Lilly and Lucy for being the ambassadors that you are.
Good breeding, good horses, good training.

What are your plans in 2025 with your favorite horse?Showing? Wanting to do trail rides but it is so out off shape because you can't find the time.
Time had changed and it's dark by time you get home and do your chores. Winter rains are coming and it will be another muddy mess.
I have a beautiful new covered riding pen. Let me get your horse in condition and ready for 2025. Let me help you make your dreams and goals a reality. I have 6 spots left.

EB FAREED AL QADIN
AHR*667252 GREY 2015, 14.3-15hd
Straight Egyptian stallion.
He is available for purchase. He has not been used as a breeding stallion. Super sweet personality. He is here in training. He has a solid walk trot, just beginning to canter, long soft strides. I believe he would make an awesome trail/endurance horse. I have been desensitizating him thru obstacles. He has a good brain.

If you would told me three months ago that I would be sitting on this horse holding a blue ribbon, I would have laughed in your face. Yet here I am, sitting on my mare ReignOn holding a blue ribbon all because of this woman in white. Barbara Bateman Adler Zimmermanntook a mare who was insecure and literally cantered like baby giraffe and turned her into a horse that I could not only ride, but feel confident doing so. See Barbara not only is amazing at training horses, she’s also amazing at training people! Barbara has been one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters getting back into riding. I would not be where I am today without the help of this awesome woman. If you need a trainer for your horse, Barbara is the one. If you need a trainer for YOU, she’s got you too!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Barbara!

This is why I love training horses. This mare Reign On was purchased 4yr ago, her owner never really got to spend a ton of time riding her, life happens and gets in the way. I have been Pasture boarding her for 2 years, I did a couple months of work with her last fall. Reign On is a big long legged mare and rode like a baby giraffe, legs everywhere except under her. Her owner is not the strongest rider and Reign could be intimidating.
I started working with Reigns to prepare her for sale. Now she is riding great and her owner is keeping her, taking lessons and making goals to show her. Her daughter is riding her too. Reigns will be something that her daughter will be able to grow into and show.
So happy for win win happy endings.

From another trainer-
30 DAYS IS NOT ENOUGH! 60 DAYS IS NOT ENOUGH! A well rounded, well trained horse takes years to develop and they are worth the investment. Good training isn't quick. Good trainers aren't cheap. When you take an un-started horse to a trainer, 30 days is not enough. The bare minimum should be 90 days. Longer is better. Yes, it costs money. Horses cost money and there is no way around it. Make sure you choose a trainer who is honest about this and isn't just trying to keep your horse longer for the money. Sit in on sessions once your horse is in training and ask questions. 30 days is not enough for the majority of horse owners to step in and continue with the success of the horse. You’re setting the horse up for failure. If you’ve taken the horse out of training too soon, not only will it affect the horse but you're also setting blame for the “bad trainer” that didn't get your horse broke and kid safe in 30 days.
In most cases, what your horse and trainer can do together after 30, 60 and 90 days are not what you and your horse can do together. This means you need to be engaged in the process with your horse, in lessons and seeking to learn yourself if you want to recreate the education your horse is receiving.
The expectation of a 90 day horse is that they now have a solid foundation of the BASICS. What those basics are will vary from horse to horse, age and trainer, but understand that you do not have a finished horse by any stretch of the imagination... and you don't usually have a beginner safe horse. Having the expectation that this is possible, is unfair to the horse. Remember, your horse won't necessarily retain ALL of what they have learned when they go back home unless you continue to work with your horse consistently and with a similar set of skills. Set realistic goals and put the time in that your horse needs and deserves, it's worth the investment!

I am opening my doors to training. Who am I? I started training for others in 1984, I put myself through college training. Then opened my barn and was full time trainer till 2001. I closed my doors and went to work a corporate job when my boys were toddlers and I was caretaker of my mother in law due to dementia. In 2009 I came back to my love of horses as an amateur. I bought a few mares and began Silverpine Arabians. I tried to do all of my own training and showing. I did use a few trainers in the begining, mainly due to time traveling for my job.
I have been successful all the way up to the National level. My highest award is Reserve US National Champion and 16 USN Top Tens.
My specialty is starting young horses, halter training and conditioning, trail/ranch riding, western pl and hunter pl.
I plan to have a smaller core focus on a smaller group. 10-15. That way every horse has my direct attention every time.
I do offer lessons, boarding and sales.
