Visit Camp Papillon Animal Shelter at the Volunteer Fair & Touch a Truck 2022! For the Love'a Duke will be raising funds at the fair to benefit Camp Papillon and could really use your support. Bring your furry friend for a walk around the park. Dogs must remain on leash and bring your cleanup supplies!

We hope you have a happy and safe July 4th weekend! Please remember that fireworks are PROHIBITED at all Middle Smithfield Township parks.

Consumer fireworks are regulated by the State. Here are the specific state regulations:

They cannot be ignited or discharged on a public or private property without express permission of the property owner.
They cannot be discharged from or within a motor vehicle or building.
They cannot be discharged toward a motor vehicle or building.
They cannot be discharged within 150 feet of an occupied structure, whether or not a person is actually present.
They cannot be discharged while the person is under the influence of alcohol, a controlled substance, or another drug.

Fireworks cannot be set off within 150 feet of a house or a commercial building, even if people aren’t in the building. That’s ½ the size of a football field.

Fireworks should not be handled by someone under the influence.

Check in at the Middle Smithfield Township building at 7:30 for gear and breakfast, then help us pick up litter from 8am to 12pm. Can't make it the full 4 hours? Help us for as much time as you can! Can't clean up that day? Stop by the Township to pick up supplies and just clean up your own street. Every little bit helps!
