One of the most asked questions we get asked is, "Do you take, do people need, does my one little donation matter"? The proof is in the pictures, yes, yes, yes. The before pictures are mintues before we open the doors and the after pictures is at 11 am. So when we say it helps, we truly mean it, no donation is too small. That one treat, toy, food, bed, collar, litter, leash, sweater donation may be "small" to you, but it can change the world for someone else. As the year comes to an end, we want to express our gratitude. We are so appreciative, but the people who show up and wait for us to open once a month are thankful! Today was another successful pantry with many animals helped because of you! As we always say, we can't do this without the community and all the donations we receive. As many of you know, we are a daycare R&B Romp and Play Doggie Day Care who opened this pantry to help the local animal community in need. Many of our clients share the same love for animals, no doubt. Jordan and Matt bring their two rescue dogs from Helping Hounds Dog Rescue to daycare. They recently got married and, with love in their hearts, asked for donations and gave them to the pantry. Here are just some of the donations, we are amazed at the generosity of this lovely couple. We thank you so much for thinking of all the local animals in need. When we all work together, a little from everyone equals a lot for all 🐾

Our next date is set for November 16th at 10 am. Please dress for any weather, we do try to get people in doors quickly but the line is outside and does take some time to work through everyone. We do not open the doors before 10 am sharp!

Helping Hounds Dog Rescue has launched a new program to help local city dogs find homes through a cool new foster program. Check it out and if you are interesed you can sign up to be a short term foster to help a local pup find a home!

With the firm belief that leaving dogs on the streets and not sending help when needed cannot be the community that our animal welfare system creates, HHDR approached city officials and B&R Bunkhouse to figure out how they could help. They are excited to announce the launching of an entirely new program –
HHDR BARK – Building Adoption Ready K9s through fostering. As with everything, They need your help to make this a success.
They are looking for some heroes. People who are willing to open their homes for an average of 3 weeks to foster a Syracuse stray dog preparing him for a forever family. These families will have the full support of HHDR including everything needed to temporarily house the dog as well as access to our trainer and our staff. Together, we will create the community that supports the efforts of dog control, cruelty officers and the city shelter that keeps dogs and humans safe.
They will assess the dog to make sure they are a good fit for your home. You help prepare the dog for family life and let us know everything you learn about him. You give an average of 3 weeks of your time, love and home and the dog enters their program ready for adoption. It is easy to get started – just complete the application. Can’t foster? Please consider making a donation to help offset the additional vet bills, crates, food and needs these dogs will have.

We had another successful pantry today. Thank you to the community who donated, this is not possible without your support. Each month, we have many families in need come to get supplies, this month was no different, and the number of families at our door grew today. Thank you does not seem like enough, the gratitude of the families today was heartwarming. Hopefully, knowing as a community we came together so that dogs & cats have a bed to sleep on, a special little treat to snack on, a leash for some walks, and a full belly will bring some happiness! We are honored to do our part!

Our pantry is this Saturday at 10 am. We are stocked again thanks to so many generous donations! Our community is so supportive of our mission, and we could not do it without you! Thank you.

Thank you again to everyone who donated supplies. We had another well stocked, successful pantry because of our generous community! We could not do this without all of you. There are many happy dogs and cats this month who will have full bellies, toys, treats, collars, and leashes. Hopefully we can open again next month. Thank you everyone!

Thank you to the very generous community. Without all your donations, our little monthly pantry could not keep going. We are stocked with dog/cat food dry and wet. We have some crates, leashes, collars, treats, cat litter, and pans. We have some other dog and cat accessories available. We open this Saturday, the 13th, 10-11 am (we will not open before 10am) stop in if you are in need. (While supplies last)
