Hello, my name is Rowan McFarling. I’ve been riding for 15 years and showing in the Hunter jumper ring for 7 years. I’ve always love to teach and I’ve been doing it on and off, but I’m excited to be teaching consistently with a great lesson program and facility like Long Run!

We are stoked to announce Susan will be teaching at Long Run Stables starting next week.
Please help us welcome Susan to our program.

Susan Berger (Horse Connections): has been teaching and training most of her adult life. She began in the Arabian World, competitively showing and helping recreational riders be competitive on the local and regional level. She expanded into all breeds in her boarding and training stables in the hunter, western, and dressage disciplines. She is CHA Certified as a Master Instructor, Site Visitor, and Clinic Certifier. She was awarded the top honor of “CHA Instructor of the Year, 2023” at the International Conference in Fort Collins, CO. Susan continues to teach and train recreational riders through private lessons, workshops, and clinics, as well as judge local shows. Susan has the ability to provide clear, understandable instruction that riders and handlers are able to use in their horsemanship and equitation.

Owner, Tia Long will be running a 5 week program where we will start with the basics to get you comfortable around horses and roll on from there.

It may have been a bit rainy and cold but It was a fun day today at the 4H horsemanship show. Abigail coached her 1st student today and they both placed 2nd & 3rds and did amazing.

With a heavy heart I'm sad to announce we had put Dani down sunday night. It was very unexpected. Please share any pics you may have of her with us. But please dont ask a bunch of questions. We are very much still in shock.
