Rylee and Athena were the highest scoring riders at this weekends PVDA show! Congrats to both ladies on spectacular rides! 🙌🏼🚀🦄

Team HAW put on their dancing shoes and sparkly browbands to earn some absolutely lovely scores at the PVDA alzheimer's benefit show!
💜Rylee and Maisie topped both of their Intro tests with 70%'s even earning a 9 on their final halt!
💜Athena and Mitch earned 84% and 83% in leadline tests, with really lovely comments on her equitation and connection with her pony.
These two put some serious work in this year and have really done a wonderful job showing what they're learning. I'm so proud of them both and grateful to their families for their never-ending support 💜✨
Also a big thank you to Emily Weber - Weber’s Tack Trunk for keeping our ponies comfy in their tack!

Year three for Team HAW AT Colonial Classic horse show! These two rode the best they've ever ridden today and had a blast with our favorite Gimme! Big thanks to Julia Jesu for the best braids! Back home we go to trun around and head to the next show!

Rocket Power is ready for takeoff in 3..2..1!
What a fun sendoff to school for our final campers today! We learned to do dressage braids, how to braid tails, and how to clip! The girls also played Chinese Firedrill and swapped horses three times during their lesson.
It's no secret that pony camp is my favorite time of the year, maybe we'll have a few opportunities once school starts!

What a special day for team HAW!
🍀Louie and Scotti kicked off our day as the most adorable pair in Leadline (okay I may be a bit biased but look at them!)
🍀Addi and Gimme did their best yet and ended with first place in her final class of Walk/Trot division
🍀Brynn and Gimme also did their best and got BOTH leads (they've been working so hard to nail them pff property!) ending in second in a big and challenging canter class!
🍀Ava and Charlie did a great job navigating a bigger class with great competition! So proud!
🍀Laynie and Lena did great in the trot class of the ss equitation division and had minimal Lena moments to earn second place!
🍀Em and Lena tried pleasure out and had a bit too much fun 🫣🦄
Today is absolutely my favorite show we've ever had, all the kids rode great, we had awesome help from Alice and Eliza, and Lou LOVED his first time on his pony off property! I was really expecting to leave the class halfway through due to him having a toddler moment, but was pleasantly surprised to keep going more than I had ever hoped for as he really enjoyed it! 💜
Time to prep some of our girlies for Colonial Classic!

What a lovely "last" day of pony camp! (For sure going to schedule another day in August!) we had an olympic team of dreams cruising through their show jumper pole course, a trot for the vet check, an Olympic groom-off and a blast on the gator in the woods.
So grateful to all who attended our camps so far this season 🥰🦄

Didn't get photos of everyone today but boy was it a great morning. Early start, no killer heat, perfect ponies all around and rockstar attitudes from each of our kiddos!
🦄Addi and Gimme did a great job in Walk/Trot bringing home great ribbons to include a 2nd!
🦄Brynn and Gimme navigated a huge WTC division with grace and brought home 2nd out of 11!
🦄Emily and Maisie had fun in the Pleasure division as a warm up and earned a Champion
🦄Ava and Charlie had huge improvements in the past month, taking home Reserve Champion in Beginner Equitation!
🦄Laynie and Maisie have been working hard at home and finally tested the waters with jumping at a show, coming home with Reserve Champion for Short Stirrup Equitation!
So proud of all the girls, who put in tons of work since the last show. Everyone had huge improvements in just a month. Summer is always my favorite riding season, because camps and extra lessons really help these girls grow so much. Thankful for such wonderful parents to help create a solid learning environment, always cheering one another on!
Huge thank you to Victoria and Lauryn Meyer (and all other volunteers involved) for putting on another wonderful show, you help create so much confidence with your efforts 💜

And we have yet another fun day in the books! Long trail ride with tons of cool feathers, bones and big logs found! We got to learn how to give oral paste medicines, and made some super cool dreamcatchers!

Another fun day of adventure camp starting with a clinic with our favorite Anne Walker, and a Farrier Demo from Shaun Lovell of SAFFA! Lots of learning, great riding and happy ponies all around today! So grateful for the weather today and yesterday, heating up tomorrow!

We had so much fun at our first pony camp day that I only had time to get one photo! There is space in our Thursday camp for one or two more riders to join- more if you bring your own pony! PM for more details or to sign up for a really fun day 🦄
Our Adventure camp is running from July 1-5 and we're so excited to hop to it. There is still limited availability, so please let me know if you're interested in your student joining!

A moment in time of a lesson horses week... This little rider is coming up on two years of riding with us this Christmas (she recently turned 6 years old). I'm so proud of all of the kiddows, but there are days where I find myself engulfed in emotion's with how far these horses have all come. Nigel used to run away throwing his head in the air with every rider when in the arena. There were days I cried after riding him thinking bringing him home was a terrible decision. He always had to try his sneaky shoulder move and run at the gate with small or inexperienced riders.... it took a year and a small village to help, but he finally calmed down and learned to enjoy his job enough to be off the lead/lunge with riders... Now he prefers the slow going pace of working with the tiniest of riders. He still teaches some of my intermediate riders. He's so gentle that I've had my baby boy ride him with me quite a few times since he was 3 months old, I trust this horse with every task I put in his path, with any rider he has had on him, he's given them his all and always finds a way to teach a valuable lesson. Cheers to the Nigels of the world 💜🦄 ⭐️ I wish I had four of you my dear boy ⭐️
