So proud of our hunter show team last season! These girlies worked so hard and rode every ride with wonderful horsemanship, joy, and focus last year. Very excited to see what adventures this year will bring!

🦄 Addison received 3rd in Walk-Trot
🦄 Brynn was 3rd in Pre-Short Stirrup
🦄 Laynie earned Reserve Champion in Short Stirrup

Last easy show for a while (as next round we'll be bringing a few more ponies to school). We always love the environment at Origami, just enough energy to keep green ponies guessing while also allowing them to calm and settle!

Wonderland is finally (!!) figuring out that horse showing isn't so stressful, she was even spotted happily napping by the ingate! She was top of every class in our division earning Champion. We even had a lovely calm canter during our course! So proud of this sweet little mare and excited to see what this season brings for her!

Rocket Power took his newer little leadline rider, Livie, for her second ever horse show and also earned Champion!

We went into the halter division with an open mind looking to learn more about this type of showing. Wendy took 3rd for Showmanship and 1st for Halter, while Scotti and Kenzie earned 5th and 6th for Showmanship, and Addi and Scotti received double 6ths for Halter.

Our dressage team celebrated a fantastic ending for the 2024 season with PVDA! I'm so proud of our girlies for their hardwork and dedication to horsemanship, but moreso the joy they bring to the sport. Let's also mention the ponies that make these adventures possible, because none of us would be who or where we are without our four legged besties to help us find our way 🦄

In addition to this snowstorm this week, we heard word that our senior working student, Sage, has accepted her offer to join Oldfields School and will be moving there this weekend. We had a fun final day with lots of lugging warm water buckets and a fun snow day hack.

Girlie, I am SO proud of the young lady you have grown to become. Go have some amazing adventures and make incredible memories. We'll always be cheering you on from HAW while you navigate your next journey. Your favorite ponies will be waiting for your hugs whenever you need them. See you on the flipside, kiddo!

We are hosting a clinic with the wonderful Aviva Nebesky on January 25 and 26 and have two-three spaces left for each day!

Aviva Nebesky is a graduate with distinction of the USDF “L” Program and actively trains and competes in dressage while maintaining a busy teaching and judging schedule. Aviva has her USDF Bronze Medal and the Fourth Level scores towards her Silver. She has competed internationally representing the USA at the Maccabi Games in Israel in 2022. Prior to Covid she worked with the PG Mounted Police and she regularly works with eventers and working equitation riders. For the last few years Aviva has co-hosted the Dressage Today podcast with Stephanie Ruff interviewing local and international trainers and competitors and answering a monthly question on the “Ask The L” segment. She also judges for several virtual show platforms.

Auditing welcome for $10 per person. We'll have a crockpot going each day and have hot chocolate available as well (BYOmug and chair) Please reach out if you're interested in Auditing or in riding with us, we look forward to having a great weekend filled with learning and ponies!

It's time to announce our second annual 2024 HAW Horse of the Year! This year we had so many wonderful horses work with our riders, it was a challenging choice.

Gimme A Kiss came to mind the most, as he has given all our students wonderful memories, sincere knowledge and love. Through this year he has taken two girlies to their show goals of competing at Colonial Classic, he has taught all of our littles how to canter, he has gone from 100% show pony to learning (read tolerating) our fun games and hacks, and he's been a fierce friend to all who have worked closely with him.

Here are a few favorite memories I treasure, if any parents (or previous Gimme fans/trainers/riders) have any they love, please comment below to include as many as possible for this awesome pony! We're so grateful to his owner, Emme, for allowing us to work with him this year! Thank you Gimme for all you've done for us, you're one of a kind! 💜🦄
