Mac and Cheese Lasagna Delight
Ultimate Mac and Cheese Lasagna Delight
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 package macaroni and cheese (prepared as per package instructions)
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
Prepare Macaroni and Cheese:
Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the package instructions. Set aside.
SautΓ© Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
Add minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent.
Add Spaghetti Sauce:
Drain any excess fat from the browned beef.
Pour the jar of spaghetti sauce into the skillet with the beef. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
Layering:
In a baking dish, start the layering process. Begin with a layer of the meat and sauce mixture, followed by a layer of the prepared macaroni and cheese.
Repeat this process until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of macaroni and cheese on top.
Top with Mozzarella:
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top layer of macaroni and cheese. This will create a deliciously cheesy and golden-brown crust.
Bake:
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Cut into portions and serve while itβs warm.
Note: Customize this recipe by adding layers of your favorite ingredients, such as sliced tomatoes, spinach, or mushrooms, to enhance the flavors and textures.
