BALTO asks, "Can you believe the weekend is over already??" As the bangles would say, "it’s going to be just another manic Monday!!" These foxes are pretty dang cute to look at but their temperaments are unpredictable. Often people try and domesticate them to be pets. THEY do NOT make good pets, the old saying is, "You can take an animal out of the wild, but you cannot take the wild out of the animal. We currently have several foxes that have been confiscated by the state, surrendered or have been captured do to escaping from a breeder. This month's guest speaker is Megan Ayers, Urban Soil Health Specialist with Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. She will be discussing how to create and maintain a healthy garden using practices such as nutrient management, cover cropping, mulching, crop rotation, no-till/low-till, and native and beneficial plants and insects. Taking my first try at growing Sh*take mushrooms.

The bucket has dowels pushed down into the wet sawdust.

The other container is packer w wet sawdust and has dowels shoved in each drilled hole.

Now to get more and try some other mediums. And places.
