🎃 Pumpkin Power for Pets! 🎃

Pumpkin isn’t just a fall favorite in your coffee—it’s a healthy treat for your pet too! 🐶 This fiber-packed snack supports digestion and is loaded with vitamins A and C to boost their immune system.

For a healthy serving, try these amounts:

Extra-small (2-20 lbs): 2-3 teaspoons
Small (21-30 lbs): 1-2 tablespoons
Medium (31-50 lbs): 2-3 tablespoons
Large (51-90 lbs): 4-5 tablespoons Extra-large dogs (91+ lbs): ¼ cup

Start with a smaller amount and work your way up to these serving sizes! Be sure to use plain, canned pumpkin—no sugary and spicy pie filling. Does your pet love pumpkin?

Originally created to address 'black dog syndrome'—the idea that dogs with black coats are often overlooked in shelters—researchers are now divided on whether this is still a significant issue. Regardless, we believe that dogs with deep black coats are absolutely stunning and deserve to be celebrated! 🖤🐾

September is National Service & Guide Dog Month, and we’re celebrating the incredible work these dogs do every day. 🦮 Service and guide dogs are highly trained professionals providing vital assistance to their owners!

Please remember not to distract service dogs from their important tasks. Give them space and educate children about the need for respect and space. Keep your own pets away from service dogs so they can remain focused on their task. If a service dog approaches you without their owner, it’s a sign they need immediate help—follow them and call 911.
