An after breakfast swing.
Puppies waiting, not very patiently, for their wellness check this morning.
I spend way too much time watching the babies.
Puppies are 5 weeks old today! It's been a big weekend for them. They are now spending time in the great outdoors and loving it!
I weigh my puppies twice a day, any puppy who has not gained as much as I think they should have, gets fed a bottle. This morning it was only one baby. They love it and oddly enough I find it very relaxing. Turn up the sound, it's the best part. Inquiries welcome.
Today was a big day, everyone got their first nail clip and apparently that works up a big thirst. Inquiries welcome.
This is our puppy " nursery", the puppies are a week old and thriving. We do have a couple of puppies available, please call me, Lisa, 715-563-0658 with any questions.
Have a litter they say, it will be fun they say. Oh my.
Yesterday the puppy pen was expanded, giving our litter room for more toys! Right now the wobble board and Little Tikes tunnel is their favorite. Please call me Lisa 715-563-0658 or Brooke 715-271-6273 for availability.
Yesterday we moved the puppies from the whelping box to the puppy pen in our family room. Right now it's setup to give them enough space to sleep, play and hopefully start to use the litter box. Mom has full-time access to the puppy space, but also the ability to get away when she chooses. As they grow, their space gets bigger, and mom's smaller. Much like the human world!
Ten little butts to clean makes a mom sneeze. Please feel free to contact us, 715 563 0658, for more information on this sweet litter.
Puppies are now 7 weeks old. The question is how many puppies fit in the toy tunnel?
The babies had their "first" meal today! They were very enthusiastic about this thing called food, they are Labradors after all. Dinner was rice baby cereal, goats milk and RC puppy mousse. After dinner a good face washing was needed for all.
Love the sound of the babies nursing.
3 days old. For information on the litter, please call 715 563 0658.
The puppies are now spending their days out in the puppy pen. Previously I used a shade tent w/ dog houses for shelter. This is the first litter to use our new permanent shelter. It is exactly what this pen needed. Lots of new toys and smells for the babies. Over the open area we have bird netting to protect the puppies from the occasional hawk.
Puppies are growing! The twitching you see is normal for newborns.
