Not too many first’s after 24 years of doing taxidermy, but this was the first Wolverine I’ve ever done. Really cool animal. Very vicious, with long sharp claws. Custom made snow habitat to hang on the wall.

I’ve been playing Santa Claus lately. Missouri whitetail from last archery season, a young man’s skull mount from this archery, and a moose antler mount. I agreed to have these done by Christmas and we made it with a little time to spare.

This client brought in his archery buck, (semi sneak head up with the plaque) and while he was here asked if I could redo an old buck of his fathers. He was able to get another buck cape from a friend of his, who recently shot a buck. I removed the antlers from the old mount and remounted them on a newer mount for him. Thanks Dan for the work and shout out to Marlene’s pizza in Nanty Glo.

I’m no longer accepting work for this season. I thought that by accepting only shoulder mounts I would be able to accommodate everyone but the demand has been way higher than I expected. Whitetail numbers were probably the best I’ve ever had. My turn around time from here is over a year and a half. Thank you so much for all the support!

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served and are currently serving in our Nation’s military. I just finished this buck and realized it was an appropriate one to share for the occasion. 9 point, PA archery, whitetail, mounted as a wall pedestal. My client is a Marine, and we used a piece of his MARPAT woodland for the pedestal backing.
