Mark your calendars, Fix'N Wag'N is set come June 12 this month! Cat spay and neuters start at $90 and include the neuter, a rabies vaccine, a distemper vaccine, a flea and tick topical treatment, and an ear mite treatment! Appointments MUST be made in advance and have to be done online.

3 quick tick facts to start the week!

-Ticks are arachnids. Meaning, they are more closely related to spiders and scorpions than insects.

-Tick infestations are more common in dogs than cats.

-Never remove a tick with your bare hand. Instead, using tweezers, grasp the tick close to the skin and pull gently.

Our January Clinic is coming up!

The clinic will be held January 10, 2023! Drop off will be at Altoona Home Depot at 6AM.

Cats must be in a SECURE carrier labeled with cats name and gender. Price is $80/cat and additional services can be purchased. The $80 package includes surgery and rabies vaccination. All services must be paid for at time of drop off in CASH.

Cats and kittens must be 3lbs/3 months of age to register.

Another great option to get your cats in!!

We will be hosting 2 cat spay and neuter clinics in the month of November!

The clinic dates are November 7th and 29th, with the Fix'n Wag'n . Sign ups for the clinics are held at the shelter during lobby hours.

For $80 your cat will be spayed or neutered, given a distemper and rabies vaccine and receive flea and eat mite treatment.

Payment is due at sign up to hold your spot for the clinic.

Hello friends of Nardecchia! We have scheduled low cost spay and neuter clinics (for cats only) for the rest of the year. They are as follows. You MUST call Ruth @ 814-742-9013 for details on how, where and when to signup and pay to secure your spot(s) in these clinics. Appointment(s) WILL NOT be scheduled until payment is received. Once scheduled the fee is non refundable, unless the clinic date is cancelled by Nardecchia. Cost of spay/neuter is $70 per cat.
