This lower cheek tooth has pretty sharp points and uneven wear - a routine finding that is manageable with regular care. Dealing with this in a timely fashion increases efficiency and prolongs the functional life of the mouth and the horse.

This post is to educate people on the importance of spaying your female dogs and cats. The photo on the left is what a normal uterus in a large breed female looks like. The photo on the right is an infected uterus in a large breed female, or what we call a pyometra. We performed this emergency spay surgery this evening. This uterus weighed 7.1 pounds. Pyometra is deadly if not treated in time.
