Today our worker bee spotlight is on Brenda.

Brenda is a guard bee. Brenda does not smile. This is intentional.

✅ Has memorized every hive member’s scent and clocked THREE impostors this month
✅ Maintains a “no exceptions” policy that has zero exceptions
✅ Does CrossFit. You will know this within 30 seconds of meeting her.

Do not test Brenda. Several wasps have tested Brenda. They are gone. 😤🐝

Today’s worker bee spotlight is on Tammy

Tammy is the hive’s unofficial life coach. Nobody hired her. She gave herself the title.
✅ Leaves motivational pollen trails for other bees to find in the morning
✅ Has a catchphrase. It’s “you miss 100% of the flowers you don’t visit.”
✅ Cried at the last team huddle. It was a good cry. She called it “a breakthrough.”
Tammy believes in you more than you believe in yourself.
It’s a lot at 6am.

Today’s Worker Bee Spotlight is on Karen
Yes. Her name is Karen. She’s heard the jokes. She has moved on.
✅ Requests to speak to the queen approximately twice a day
✅ Brings her own organic pollen from a “small batch” flower nobody else has heard of
✅ Filed a noise complaint about the other bees. She lives in the hive.
Karen is a lot. Karen also makes exceptional honey. It balances out. 🍯

It has come to our attention (thank you Rhonda) that we are entirely too focused on queens. So let’s meet some of our workers!
Meet Rhonda
She’s been working the same lavender patch for 3 weeks and does NOT appreciate when other bees “discover” it.
✅ Visited 2,000 flowers today. Will mention it at dinner.
✅ Carries tiny groceries (very organized)
✅ President of the HOA. 14 warnings issued this week.
She works hard. She minds her business. Mostly. 😂
