We only managed to catch one more cat today at the property with the burned down house. BUT, it was one of the 3 cats that lived in the basement! So we are hopeful we will find 2 more survivors at some point

She is very scared and we were told the basement kitties were shy to begin with. But we will see how she does after she has had time to decompress. I can’t even imagine how traumatic it was.

We welcomed another horse Monday night.

She was pulled from a kill pen in Michigan that works to keep Arabians out of the slaughter pipeline. They found some in Wisconsin to quarantine her but needed a place for her to go once quarantine was up.

They found some woman who helped with quarantine named her Soleil. The kill pen said she was 15 but they always lie. She is likely in her 20’s.

She has some neurological issues that we will have to vet check out further.

I only have the pictures that were sent to me while she was in quarantine. It’s been too cold for my hands and phone to get further pictures 🥶 She is underweight but she is getting grain and all the hay she can eat so hopefully she will be better in another month or two.

Great option for people looking for low cost spay neuter! She does an amazing job. While it’s low cost it is definitely not low quality

Another year has come to a close. I’m not going to lie, this was a tough year with a lot of heartbreak. But we were also able to help a lot of animals thanks to the continued support of our community. We were able to finish out the year with several adoptions!

Thank you to our amazing volunteers, adopters, donors, friends and family. None of this is possible without each and everyone of you. And of course our amazing vet team who work tirelessly for our animals.

We look forward to helping more animals in 2025 and continue to be the change these animals need and deserve 💕 🐴🦆🐈‍⬛🐓🐐🐖🐑

She was pretty nervous at the video shoot but see the comments for more videos of her moving around. She is super sweet now that she has another kitty she is living with and has made huge progress.
