Happy Valentine's Day!

As part of our new enrichment centered daycare programs we are taking our guests on local dog friendly outings and adventures. Supporting local businesses or visiting our local parks.

This morning Dixie joined us on our first visit to Botanical House NSB for coffee. We felt the sting of Cupid's arrow and fell in love with these "Eye of the Chaiger" strawberry chai lattes!

Give a big Beachtown Dogs welcome to, Kingsley! A 7 year old Aussie Doodle who just made his way from Ohio for a 6 week board and train program. We will be working to identify and resolve some challenging attention seeking behaviors, anxiety related behaviors and their underlying causes.

Following the training program Kingsley will be transferring into Red String Rescue where he will be looking for a family to share his love and playful energy with. Kingsley has known wonderful love and devotion his whole life including the difficult choice that was made to surrender him and send him to us for the help they tried long and hard to provide. Sometimes we have to make hard choices out of love that others don't understand and Kingsley is the epitome of this.

We are grateful to be able to help Kingsley on his journey and know we are giving his family the peace of mind and comfort knowing he will be properly loved and cared for.

This boy has a super bright future ahead of him! And we are honored to help him get there.

Southeast Volusia Humane Society put out a call to community to provide warm foster homes for some of the shelter pups during the next couple days of cold and wet weather...

And now we would like to introduce you all to our "Frosty Foster", Waylon!

Brandon picked him this afternoon and he will be spending the rest of the week with us!

Waylon is a super mush! And he is still available for adoption through the shelter. He will need to be neutered before he could go home but if you're interested in meeting him or learning more about him let us know!

Let’s hear it for Ajax, our newest Graduate from our Board & Train program!

Ajax came to us from another rescue after he exhibited some undesirable behavior with his new adoptive family. It was thought he may have some dog aggression/reactivity challenges.

We opened our program to him, gave him some time to decompress, and then began to slowly work with him and evaluate his needs & temperament.

He is a sweet & lovable fella who quickly became best buds with Tux. He enjoyed walks with Hope to the local coffee shop, and the true graduation test was bringing him to Santa Paws where we got a picture with him & Santa at Cap’n Lu’s.

He’s going to be going back home to his adoptive family and we are so excited for him to have a loving home 🥰

Congrats, Ajax! You did it, buddy! We will miss you and hope to see you again for future boardings 🥰

We’ve been a little behind on updating the book of faces with all of our new excitement, however we wanted to take a moment and introduce our newest friend, Ollie!

Ollie came to us for a quick visit and while he was a bit shy (yet curious) at first, he quickly warmed up and made new friends! He enjoyed his visit and we look forward to having him again 🥰

Yesterday we celebrated National Cheeseburger Day! Our furry friends were so excited for a tasty treat. We also had some fun exploring the new tunnel in the play yard, conquering the seesaw and splashing in the pool 🐶
