Offering a small group, in-home, dog B & B for those family members you have to leave behind, but want to feel like they are as close to "home" as you can get. They will nap on the couch, be petted and cuddled, have individual attention, and generally be spoiled rotten, all for no more than the cost of a traditional kennel. Barker's has two resident dogs for companionship. No more than three guest

dogs will be in residence at any one time (for a total of five including the house dogs.) Guests of Barker's must come with up-to-date shot records, be housebroken, and friendly with other dogs. (There is a forty(ish) pound weight limit.) A safe, privacy fenced backyard is provided for potty breaks and outdoor play. Barker's is owned and operated by Renea Dijab, a life-long animal lover with dozens of 5 star reviews on Rover.com. Renea has rescued and fostered dogs and cats all her adult life, including a three-week stint caring for eleven rescued foster puppies! Renea wants to offer a small, select group of people, the same thing that she wants when she goes on vacation... she wants her dogs loved on, cared for, and comforted in her absence. This is the home-like service she will provide for your dogs. This isn't the typical mass boarding of a kennel in row after row of cages and runs, of wire and concrete... this is your precious pup, living in the house, just like they live in yours. Lying on feet, head resting on knee, curled in lap... and at a cost of no more than the price of a good kennel. Be sure to book early as there are very limited spots in this boutique dog B & B!

My 17-year-old boy has crossed the rainbow bridge. He died peacefully at home when his heart decided it was time to stop. I was with him as he took his last breath. We should all be so lucky.

I am in profound grief at the moment and am unable to have any guests that are not already booked.

I found out today that sweet Georgia Mae had unexpectedly crossed the 🌈 bridge due to a previously undiagnosed cancer.

She was so sweet, with those beautiful amber eyes, always looking up at you.

I know her human family grieves tonight, but so does her canine brothers, Buster and Buddy.

Lina and I are heartbroken. 💔

Dogs don’t live long enough and when we know so many, we are inevitably saying goodbye too many times.

I have cried about Bailey all day today. I was her emotional support animal as she was one big neurotic mess. I loved her and she loved me.

It was cancer. And it was sudden. And my heart is a little bit broken.

Bailey. I am sorry we didn’t have more time. I love you,
