Good morning all of our Pawesome clients! Please read this entire post, as we have some new, and current policies, being put more into effect immediately!
We will no longer be servicing any dogs over 40 pounds. Unfortunately, this may even mean, if you’re an existing client, we may no longer be able to continue to care for your furbaby. It has became extremely physically, and mentally draining on us, to continuously, have to try to do dogs that are fighting, pulling, bucking, crocodile rolling, and biting at us. Not only is this unsafe, for us, and the pets entrusted to our care, but this also puts our schedule very behind, causing pets to be there longer than necessary. This also goes a long with, if we tell you your pet needs to be on a certain schedule, and that doesn’t happen, we will no longer continue to do your dog.
Next, we will require a current picture of a potential new dog client, before we will make the appointment. We have been recently lied to, on multiple occasions about dogs sizes, and conditions. If you bring your furbabies in, and they are not what was told to us prior to the appointment, or we discover they have severe behavioral issues once we start to groom them, we will send them home, and you will have to pay the entire cost of what the full groom would have been, and this includes us keeping the deposit required before making the appointment.
Last, we work by APPOINTMENT only! We do NOT have a set time we close. When we contact you, we expect the pets to be picked up in a timely manner. Just like you all, we do have things to do after we leave the shop, some of which are getting to daycare on time, getting our kids places, or even appointments. Additional fees will be added if you don’t pickup your pet within 30 minutes of us contacting you. We also do this, to limit the number of pets, in our salon, at one time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for anyone, but these decisions were not made lightly. I have to do what is best for the salon, the furbabies in our care, and the safety of us, and the furbabies.
