Frankie is stretching his legs this morning after having breakfast. He’s was hospitalized with pneumonia and is doing much better after treatment and hospitalization. Remember that prey species like cows, goat, sheep etc are very subtle with their clinical signs until it is almost too late for treatment. Watching them closely for coughing, nasal discharge, increased breathing rate, not eating (or reduced eating), not drinking, weight loss or fever. It could be as subtle as the ears are low and sad looking. If you have questions call to speak with our vets. The cold windy weather brings pneumonia so be on the lookout for illness in your herds.

Happy New Year! As we move into 2025 we’d like to thank all of our amazing clients for their continued support and patronage through the years. Thank you for allowing us to get to know your fur babies. It’s our great pleasure to take care of your furry family members and livestock. We look forward to another great year! As always, we are here for you and your animals. Have a safe and happy New Year’s Day. We are currently closed today but we do have a doctor on call for any emergencies.
