Calling all my animal loving friends,  which should be all of my friends. Requesting prayers and hugs my little barn kitten that got caught in the fan blade of the truck. He has a few minor cuts on him, but no broken bones. I got the wounds dressed and a tiny dose of dexamethazone for pain and swelling. He and his two brothers showed up at one of my barns with his momma about two months ago, and of course he’s my favorite kitten. Right now he’s resting comfortably on my bed and purring. ❤️

I am a registered organ donor (family pay attention). If my brain has died, I’m done with my body. Throw a Party! Drink all the Juice, play the music loud and DANCE!!!! Give my organs to whoever needs them. Whatever still works, is up for grabs. I won’t need them. If you’re an organ donor, please copy. I’m curious to see how many of my friends and family are donors.

I said goodbye to my OTTB Grand Stage yesterday. He is in a better place now enjoying endless green pastures. This sweet boy has been with me for 12 years after his racing career ended. When we met he did not know what a treat was nor what loving pats and hugs meant. He quickly discovered he enjoyed the TLC and became a sweet “in your pocket” horse that hated his fly mask but loves being sprayed with fly spray. Days like this are incredibly difficult, but are endured because the love and enjoyment we shared is worth the pain now. Rest easy my old man 💔 I have shared a link in the comments to a video of the last race he won in 2009

Lambing officially started Saturday afternoon 😊 so far 11 healthy kids out of seven ewes. All bor in our new pen set up in the chicken house while it was pouring rain outside. I expected it to make my life easier but I never knew how much. I just l love these babies ❤️

I love it when a plan comes together 😊 planning for this lambing setup since June of this year when we had the opportunity to rent an old chicken house. While the plan began in my mind it only came to fruition with the help of Shane, Tyler, Josh and Tracy Smootz. Got all of our pregnant ewes (58 in total) moved into their new digs on Saturday afternoon. Anxiously waiting the start of lambing season within the next week

The girls say they are ready to start lambing any minute now ❤️ all lambs will be available for sale at weaning as we kept twelve girls from last year. Contact me if you would like to be placed in the list to purchase any. Our first bunch are bred to Arnie our Dorper Ram from NK Ranch in Texas. They should be some nice thick lambs with some rams suitable for herd sires.
