All of us that have fur babies knows the importance of a good vet. What about a great vet that is also a friend for almost forty years? Dr. Lyndon Goldsmith was that man. He was a no nonsense advocate for our furry, feathered and hairless babies.
Over the years we had so many discussions on old thoughts and new of Veterinary medicine and everything else. He never questioned my reasoning but would offer an alternative thought. He never dumbed down anything, knowing if I needed a clarification I would ask. He was there at the beginning and the end of my babies lives and I will be forever grateful to him for that.
I know I told him a thousand times, thank you. And from all the babies he held... I hope he knew how much he meant to me and my babies 💔💔

So true, just happened to Roman (black lab mix) when he was surrendered by his owner last week. Took 3 days for him to eat food. He was so sad and still doesn't know why he was surrendered. Frankly, either do we.

Someone once said when you love someone with Dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they die. This is called "Ambigua Loss."
I wouldn’t wish Dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, it changes physically and eventually forgets who their loved ones are. They can end up lying in bed not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll by this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who battled or is fighting Dementia.

This is a cross post that I posted in the Gracious cat Breeders group. I want to reach as many people as I can to let them know what a fraud and thief Guiseppe Barcelona is.

Hello gracious breeders. If this is against the rules please let me know and I will pull it down. This is an update on my fight with that fraud, liar and thief. If you saw my earlier post you know the details and the person who calls himself a breeder. He refuses to return my money and has blocked me on FB. I will be initiating a fraud case this week. Many of you asked to be kept updated and sent supportive messages to me and I appreciate that very much. This morning he posted a picture of himself with a dog (before I was blocked) and when I saw how many fellow breeders, liked, loved and commented on his picture it really saddened me. He has defrauded other people and so many told me stories of his cheating other people. He brings us all down. I'm sorry for taking so long on this post.
