We are coming up on storm season. That means that it is an important time to make sure that your pet is microchipped AND that the contact information is correct! If you move, get a new phone number, or your pet is rehomed, that information needs to be updated too!

If you are not sure if your pet is microchipped, we can make that happen at your next visit with us. Also, we can scan them to make sure you have the number on hand!

Want to hear a sweet story? This mama cat named “Chuyi” was recently adopted and came into see us because the owner thought she might be pregnant. Guess what… She was!

Mom was concerned about her having kittens at her home because she had never been in that situation. So this sweet cat has been staying at our clinic for the last 10 days so we could watch her have her kittens!

And wouldn’t you know it… On the absolute coldest day yesterday… Our sweet mama had six babies!!!

The sweetest and best mama around and her and kittens are doing amazing!

Also included is an x-ray so you can see what the babies look like inside momma! Does it look like there are six in there to you?

🎃🐾 Halloween Pet Safety Tips! 🐾🎃 Halloween is full of spooky fun, but it can be tricky for our furry friends! Keep your pets safe and happy with these tips: 👻 Keep Candy Out of Reach – Chocolate, sugar-free treats, and certain candy can be dangerous for pets. Keep all treats out of reach and make sure curious pets don’t sneak any wrappers! 🎃 Be Costume-Conscious – Costumes can be adorable but not all pets enjoy dressing up. If your pet shows signs of stress or discomfort, skip the outfit and go for a festive bandana instead. 🕸️ Watch the Door – Trick-or-treaters mean a lot of doorbell ringing! If your pet is anxious or likely to dart, set them up in a quiet room with their favorite toys to keep them calm. 🌙 Glow with Visibility – If you’re heading out for a walk, make sure your pet is easily visible with reflective gear or a glow collar to stay safe in the dark. With a little planning, you and your pets can have a safe and “pawsome” Halloween! 🎃🐾
