We've had a great first week of the 2024 ACVO/ Epicur Pharma National Service Animal Eye Exam Event event here at the Veterinary Eye Center of Oklahoma. It is an absolute honor to ensure that these animal heroes have healthy eyes so they can keep doing what they do best. Just one week into this event and we have already seen dogs from Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Below are a few of the dogs we got to meet and examine this week.

As we reflect on 2023, we find ourselves extremely grateful for the opportunity to restore comfort and vision to so many pets. We are thankful for our clients who trust us to care for their beloved family members. It’s our One-year Anniversary! Thank you to all who have been part of this journey. It is hard to believe that it has already been a year as that first day seems like yesterday at times. However, as we reflect on the many patients, clients, and veterinarians whom we have had the privilege to serve, it also feels like we’ve known you for many years. This milestone leaves us grateful for your love, support, and encouragement and excited for what the future will bring.

It was another great week of the 2023 ACVO/Epicur National Service Animal Eye Exam Event here at Veterinary Eye Center of Oklahoma. This is Wyatt Earp. He is a cadaver dog who helps put the worst of the worst criminals behind bars. He has quite the resume! It was an honor for us to ensure his eyes are healthy for this heroic work that he does. Thank you for your service, Wyatt!

By employing the same surgical technologies used in humans and with the placement of artificial lenses, we achieve a nearly 95% success rate for restoration of vision in dogs with cataracts.
