The Patch will be closed this Saturday...so come to Silver Wind instead! This horse and tack sale is one of our favorite events. Several of our rescue horses at The Patch will be for sale. Come try them out and make Christmas one you will never forget!

(Side note...we do offer horse boarding and lessons at The Patch! ;) )

Meet our singing mule, Scooter!!!! We love this boy so much. He has lived at The Patch for 3 years. His hobbies include giving rides during our events, being the only mule in our lesson program, and of course... SINGING (to convince you to feed him more!). He does have a bad habit of lying about whether or not he's had his breakfast yet....

Meet our
"MINI PONY OF THE WEEK!"

💛Butterscotch💛

HE is so pretty, everyone always assumes he's a girl! We have had him for FOUR years. He was Ella's first pony training project...and we had a little bit of a hard time when we talked about selling him. She got very attached! Now that she's older- and has outgrown him- we know he is ready for a new kid to love him!

Butterscotch has given countless lessons and pony rides and is always a good sport. He tolerates all shenanigans very well!

He will be available at our "I Want a Pony for Christmas" event this December- but to a great home, could be sold before then.

Thank you Butterscotch for all your "hard work" at The Patch all these years! And congratulations on having the best hair of all the ponies 🤣

Why do we allow guests to pay what they choose?

Well- it was inspired by this little angel 💖.

Iain Rowe was a happy, fun loving and curious little boy. He was taken from this world too soon at age 6.

In honor of his joyful spirit, we choose to invite everyone to visit our pumpkin patch and pay whatever amount they choose to donate- or nothing at all.

It has been an amazing change. We have families tell us they have never been able to afford to take their kids to a pumpkin patch before. And some that donate extra because they remember how tight finances were for them before. Opening our gates without requiring payment has also opened our hearts.

We also make sure that payments are made anonymously- we do not check to see how much you donate, so that those that cannot do not feel any different.

Horse and pony rides are included at no extra charge, for children and adults. You are allowed to bring your own food and drink.

Please come out and visit our little farm- make some memories with your children in Iain's honor. We know he's smiling down on us all. 💖👼

We have many outdoor games set up for your family to enjoy- but- as it seems to go for kids- they usually love the simple things the most! Climb hay bales, play in the sand pile, and enjoy some screen free, fresh air time outside!

The Patch runs on donations, which allows us to take care of our animals and include everyone- no matter their financial status. Thank you to all who have visited so far this season!
