The holiday season is now in full swing, which brings excitement, but for male cats, it can also bring extra stress—and with it, a higher risk of Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD).

If your cat seems to be urinating more frequently, straining, or showing signs of discomfort, it could be a sign of FLUTD.

Simple steps like creating a quiet, cozy space or using pheromone sprays, can help reduce stress.

Our clinic is here to help! We can provide a thorough review of your cat’s health and offer guidance on environmental changes to keep them calm. Contact us today!

🦠Leptospirosis is an infection of Lepto bacteria. Found in the urine of infected mice, rats, racoons, skunks and possums, this bacteria gets excreted into the environment.

Dogs are most often infected by drinking from a contaminated water source. The bacteria then targets the liver and kidneys, leading to serious illness and sometimes death.

You can prevent infection with an annual lepto vaccine and booster, good for dogs over 12 weeks old.

Help us spread awareness on the importance of the lepto vaccine by sharing this post!

Aro is up for adoption through Angel Fund Okc. This sweet boy was dropped in our lobby last week.

Meet Aro: Your Holiday 🐾 Companion Searching for a Forever Home!

This holiday season, say hello to Aro—a sweet 4-month-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a heart as big as his puppy paws! 🐶❤️

Aro’s journey began when he was found on the side of the road and later left in the lobby of a local vet. 🏥 With no leads on his previous owner, Angel Fund stepped in to give this lovable pup a second chance. Now, Aro is ready to find his forever family and bring warmth, laughter, and endless cuddles to his new home. 🎄🎁

🐕 Why Aro Will Steal Your Heart:

• Smart and Eager to Please: Aro already knows sit, shake, and walks well on a leash. 🦴✨
• Affectionate Lovebug: He adores snuggling and truly believes he’s a lap dog, no matter his size. 🐾💖
• Playful Spirit: Recently discovering the joy of rope toys, Aro loves to play, though he gets adorably distracted at times. 🎾🪢
• Social Butterfly: Aro is great with other dogs and even cats, making him a wonderful addition to any family. 🐕🐈

If you’re ready to add a bundle of energy, joy, and unconditional love to your family, Aro might be the perfect fit. 🏡✨

Give this special pup the gift of a lifetime—a home for the holidays and beyond! 🎅🐾 Reach out to Angel Fund today to learn more about adopting Aro. 🎁❤️

Have you noticed our pets seem to get even cuter as they age? (Seriously, how do they do that?)

Unfortunately, no one has came forward for this little guy. If anyone is interested in adopting him, please contact Memorial Road Pet Hospital. We are also working on trying to get him into a rescue.

He knows how to walk on a leash, he can sit and give lots of hugs.

Serious inquiries only.

Thank you!

Does your pet have a beautiful face like our friend here? Keep reading (and drop a photo in the comments)!

Deep wrinkles often trap moisture causing yeast to thrive. If left untreated, their skin can get inflamed and infected. This is called skin fold dermatitis.
Symptoms may include redness and inflammation, itching, odor, skin discoloration, and skin lesions.

Regularly cleaning and drying their folds with vet-approved cleanser can go a long way! Our team can discuss more options to help your squishy-faced friend remain looking and feeling beautiful! Give us a call.
