Heat stroke is a life threatening medical emergency requiring immediately veterinary care. If your pet experiences symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke take he/she directly to a Veterinarian.

How to keep pets cool on hot days:
β€’ Limit exercise to early morning or evening hours.
β€’ Never leave your pet in a hot car, even with windows cracked.
β€’ Provide access to plenty of fresh drinking water and shade.
β€’ Stay off asphalt. If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for their paws!
β€’ Fill a kiddie pool with water or set up a sprinkler/misting hose.
