POSITION OPENING at Cadence Equestrian Center, located in Edmond, OK. The Cadence Riding Academy is hiring for the position of Part-Time Riding Instructor. Qualifications: High school education, solid horsemanship and hunter/jumper, eventing, and/or dressage background required in riding and showing. Minimum of two years previous experience as a riding instructor. Flexible hours & schedule with excellent pay - weekday afternoons, early evenings, and/or Saturdays (around 12-15 hours per week). Applicants must be upbeat & friendly, professional, very patient, and be willing to teach students age 4 & up. Background check required. This is not a riding position. Taking it back to the 2024 Jumping Seat Medal Finals, at Capital Challenge Washington, DC! Here’s Isabella Cope and her mount riding to their highest score in the three-phase competition. They ended up 33rd out of 175 riders in the Jump Seat and in the 3’3” Open Equitation the 12th highest score, placing 8th in their section. Congratulations Isabella!

Congratulations to Brooke Parkinson and her mount 24 Carot on a successful trip in the NCEA Finals East at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania National Show! After a ski injury put her out of riding many months, Brooke worked hard to qualify and ride at finals this year. This is the second final for this pair this indoors season, next stop National Horse Show!

⚠️Attention OKC metro area horse community!⚠️

The vehicle seen here (older model dark blue 4-door sedan w/very dark tinted windows — likely an older model Toyota Corolla) has been involved in a string of robberies at Edmond horse facilities. The suspects (a man & woman) have also been spotted surveilling barns as far away as south of Norman. Please be on lookout for this vehicle.
