Huge thanks to 7 Brew Coffee for bringing the delicious teas and coffees for shelter staff and pup-cups for the shelter dogs! We had a lot of fun sharing with every single dog in the shelter!

We hope everyone and their critters stays safe this evening! Don't forget to CHECK YOUR FENCES AND GATES before letting them outside tonight or in the morning. We get so many calls the day after storms come through because owners don't think to check their fence for wind damage.

Also, please put ID tags on your pets! Of course microchips are great, but ID tags are the fastest way to get your pet home if they run away or get lost. You can even use a sharpie and write your phone number on the inside of their collar if you don't have time to get tags.

After 424 days in the shelter, we are so happy to announce that Gin and Tonic (now Jim and Tony) have found a home TOGETHER! We are keeping our fingers, toes, and tails crossed that this works out. We know these pups are going to need a lot of time and patience to adjust to their new family but we have a good feeling about it!

LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER IN EDMOND!

Our first ever clinic for May 1st is almost completely booked (just a few spots left!) so we have added another date on May 23rd. We hope you can make it! Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when scheduling:

- Drop off will be between 7:30-8:30am
- Pick up will be between 3:30-4:30pm
- Appointments are based on male/female and cat/dog and we only have "X" amount of surgeries available per category. If we don't show up when you enter your pets info, it's because that category is fully booked.
- A $10 deposit is required at the time of booking with the rest due after surgery.
- Additional services such as nail trims, heartworm tests, and microchipping can be added on while the pet is here for surgery!

We want to take a quick moment to say thanks to our amazing crew who work hard EVERY DAY to keep the animals and citizens of Edmond safe! Our department staffs 4 Officers, 4 Shelter Specialists, 3 Kennel Technicians, 1 Administrative Specialist, and 1 Shelter Supervisor. Here are just few of the faces around the shelter. If you run into a staff member this week, be sure to thank them for the wonderful but often difficult that they choose to do!

Here at Edmond Animal Services, we love all breeds of dogs, even the mixes! Come adopt your very own unique mix today! Research shows that mixed breed dogs have fewer health problems and may live longer than some purebred dogs. The shelter is open Monday-Saturday and our adoption fee is always $25!

Sensitive and sweet, Tex is an impeccable listener. He is affectionate, kind, trusting, social, and knows exactly how to melt hearts with just a look 😍
