Jack is a 6 year old Mastiff/Boxer mix who weighs about 80 lbs. He is looking for a new home because his current family has cats and he is not good with cats. He has been reported dog friendly and good with kids. He prefers women over men. He is located in Victoria, TX which is about 2 hours SE of San Antonio. His owner may be able to help with some transport for the right home.

Dolly is a GPMR girl who is ready for her forever home! Dog friendly, not recommended for cats though as she likes to chase small fluffy things that run! She has not yet been evaluated with kids. Frank is currently in Tecumseh, KS (near Topeka). His owners report he is a great dog but they feel he would do best as the only dog in the home. He is reported to live with cats but outside he will chase squirrels. He is reactive to other dogs which is the reason for the rehoming. He is neutered and current on his Rabies vaccine.

A few have been asking about the 2 Mastiffs rescued in AR, we have them in foster care and are calling them Mike and Molly. They are looking for a forever home preferably together. They are estimated 2-3 years old, good with medium to large dogs. Still being evaluated with cats and small dogs. Unknown right now if they can be placed with kids. Mike is very friendly, Molly is more shy. We will get them on the website soon but if interested please send us a message! They will be getting treated for heartworms soon. They are currently in Ft Smith, AR

Welcome Chloe to rescue - she is about 8 months old and sweet as pie! She is good with medium to large size dogs. Due to being a 95 lb puppy, she may be a little much for small dogs. It is unknown at this time if she is cat friendly. She would do OK in a home with older kids; she's too much puppy for kids under 8.

Abbey is finished with her heartworm treatment and ready for adoption! We estimate her around 5 years old. She is good with dogs and cats. Abbey is definitely more of a home-body than an out on the town kind of dog. If you're looking for a companion to hang out with you at home, this is your girl! We don't have any history of her with kids so not recommended for homes with young children. You can read more about her and fill out an application on our website www.gpmr. org

We're still looking for fosters for these two Mastiffs. Our fostering states are OK, AR, MO, and TX. One male and one female. Estimated 2-3 years old, housebroken, seem fine with medium to large dogs but not recommended for small pets. Currently at a vet office near Little Rock AR. We prefer to keep together but will separate if no one will take them both. Please contact us via direct message or email [email protected] if you can help! Rescue covers all costs!

These 2 Mastiffs were found as strays last weekend in Jacksonville AR and currently serving a stray hold at one of our partner vets. We suspect they were dumped in a neighborhood as no owner has come forward, or reported these 2 missing at the shelters/vet's offices we've called, and we can't find any social posts about them being missing. They are not microchipped or wearing any ID. Both are adult Mastiffs and appear to be a bonded pair. We're seeking a foster or foster to adopt home for them together in one of our covered states (AR, MO, OK or TX). Both dogs tested positive for heartworms so it would be a 3-4 month foster commitment to get them through their treatment. GPMR will cover all expenses.
