Little do they know that only your dog knew you were in pain.
They don't know what it's like to see your old dog trying to come over and say hello.

"Dozer loved people. When we took him to the dog park, he made friends with anyone that would scratch his head or belly. Most of all, Dozer loved kids, and our 11 grandchildren all loved Dozer. He was patient and sweet with them as babies and toddlers and good natured if they pulled his tail or poked him in the eye. He loved spending time on our boat and even had a ride or two on a raft! Dozer lived for more than 14 years, which is quite an accomplishment for an English Bulldog, and we feel fortunate that he was in our lives for so many years. We miss you Dozey and will always love you.

We are so grateful for Dr. Black and Compassion4Pets. Everyone throughout the process was so kind, thoughtful, and caring. It made an incredibly difficult decision a little bit easier, and we know that Dozer's last minutes were filled with love and peace, with his family right beside him, loving, snuggling and scratching him until he drifted away for the last time.
