We are excited to welcome Dr. Erin Hassett to the C4P team! 💙
A little bit about Dr. Erin:
I was born and raised in Chicago and completed my degree at the University of Illinois in 2010. After graduating, we enjoyed ten wonderful years in southern California. In 2021, our family moved back to the Chicago area, but after some soul searching, we ended up in the beautiful PNW.
I had worked in private practice since receiving my DVM. I soon learned that my true passion was connecting with the people and pets I was lucky enough to meet along the way. I have always worked in small hospitals, and when it came time to say goodbye, it was always very difficult to create an environment that I felt was quiet and respectful enough to really surround a family with the overwhelming love that they deserve in such a tender and painful moment.
In 2024, our own 15 year old beagle, Gia, was suddenly facing an emergency overnight. I knew it was time to say goodbye but I knew that I couldn't be involved in the process. I desperately searched at 3am, sitting with her in my bathroom, and ended up turning to a group of veterinarians that I know and trust. They all turned me to Dr. Sara at C4P and I could not have been more grateful for the tender love, care and respect we were shown in our time of need. It took me very little time to realize that this was the sign that I was waiting for, and this is what I was meant to do. I contacted Dr. Sara again, and the rest is history. I could not be happier to have joined this wonderful team and to have been given this amazing opportunity to provide such a gift to families who have to face such a difficult day. I will continue to strive to make such a horrible moment as fear free and stress free as possible so that each family and pet can only focus on their love for each other.
I live in Everett with my husband, our twins, our morkie, Marty McFly, and our terror…I mean terrier, Zelda. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, baking, crafting, and watching scary movies. Our family is enjoying getting to know the PNW and we are all learning about being more outdoorsy, but when we’re not, we’re usually doing something nerdy or Disney related.
