Music City HRC. Running Kate along with four of her pups at the same test on the same weekend was both nostalgic and amazing! She’s such a great dog and her pups are falling right into her footsteps.

In January of 2024, I was devastated when my Labrador retriever tore her CCL. At 8 years of age, I worried her hunting and testing careers may be over.

I contacted Dr. Tony Schumann. We had a visit and consultation. Dr. Tony performed the surgery and we picked Kate up the next morning. We followed Dr. Schumann’s orders to the letter. Just a few weeks later, Kate was cleared to run again!

The HRC Grand was held in late April and thanks to Dr. Tony, Kate was ready to give it one more try. She passed and a few days later, completed two finished tests to earn the thirty points she needed to complete her grand title!

These dogs give us all they have every day. We owe them the best care and treatment. There is no one better than Dr. Schumann and his staff! Kudos and many thanks! Kate and our entire family are forever in your debt.

Obligatory dash candy shot- had a great weekend at Music City HRC. We went 19/20 for the weekend running five seasoned dogs and five finished dogs. All five seasoned dogs were making their hunt test debuts and 4/5 finished dogs were running their first finished tests. Thanks to all the judges, workers, and owners!
